How to Cancel Your Age of Learning Subscription

To cancel an Age of Learning subscription, first figure out who bills you, then cancel in that place before your next renewal date. If you signed up on the ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, or ReadingIQ website, cancel inside your account settings. If you subscribed through the app on an iPhone, Android device, or Amazon device, you have to cancel through Apple, Google Play, or Amazon — Age of Learning cannot do it for you. All charges are final and non-refundable once they process, so timing matters.1ABCmouse. Cancellation and Refund Policies for ABCmouse

First, Check Who Bills You

This is the step most people skip, and it’s the one that causes cancellations to fail. Cancelling in the wrong place does nothing to stop the charges.

Open the app, go to Settings, and look under Manage My Account. If your plan details and billing information appear there, Age of Learning bills you directly. If instead you see a note referencing Apple, Google Play, or Amazon, the app store handles your billing and that’s where you need to cancel.2ABCmouse. Updating ABCmouse Billing Information You can also check your bank or credit card statement; the merchant name on the charge usually makes the source obvious.

One more thing to know before you start: ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, and ReadingIQ each have their own separate account. Cancelling one does not cancel the others.

Cancelling Directly Through Age of Learning

If the company bills you directly, use the app or the website for whichever product you subscribed to.

Open the app and tap the avatar or profile icon in the upper-left corner. Tap Settings in the lower-left corner, select Manage My Account, scroll down to the Membership Details section, and tap Cancel Membership. Cancelling Through an App Store

If you subscribed inside the app, Age of Learning has no ability to stop the charges. You must cancel through the platform that processes your payment.

Apple (iPhone or iPad)

Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find the Age of Learning app in the list, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. If there’s no cancel button and you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already cancelled.6Apple Support. If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple

Free Trials and Refunds

ABCmouse offers a 30-day free trial when you sign up through the website on a monthly plan. If you don’t cancel before day 30, the trial converts automatically to a paid plan at $14.99 per month. The annual plan costs $45.00 per year and bills immediately with no trial period.9ABCmouse. How Much Does ABCmouse Cost? What Happens After You Cancel

Cancelling stops future charges but doesn’t cut off access right away. You keep full use of the app through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and your child’s profiles, completed activities, and progress stay saved even after the subscription expires.3ABCmouse.
