To cancel an Akool subscription, use the channel you signed up through: the billing dashboard on Akool’s website, the Subscriptions screen on your iPhone or Mac if you subscribed through Apple, or the Play Store if you subscribed on Android. Whichever route applies, your paid features stay active until the current billing cycle ends.
Cancel on the Akool Website
Most subscribers sign up directly on akool.com, where payments run through Stripe. Cancellation happens inside your dashboard:
- Log in and go to Billing, then Subscription.
- Click Manage Plan. An automated support agent opens and walks you through the request.
- Answer its questions until it gives you a cancellation link, then click that link to finalize.
That last step is where people slip up. Before handing over the link, the agent may offer alternative plans or discounts. Keep going until you actually receive the link and click it, or the cancellation won’t register.1Akool Help Center. Subscription Plans – Section: Cancel Your Subscription
Cancel Through Apple
Akool’s iOS app sells a Pro monthly plan and a Pro yearly plan as in-app subscriptions. If you subscribed that way, Akool’s website cannot cancel it. Apple controls the billing.
On an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Find Akool, select it, and tap Cancel Subscription. The status will show the cancellation as pending, and access continues until the current period expires.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
On a Mac, click your name in the App Store or System Settings, open Account Settings, scroll to Subscriptions, and click Manage. On Windows, open the Apple Music or Apple TV app, go to Settings, and find Manage next to Subscriptions.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Cancel Through Google Play
If you subscribed on Android, open the Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Akool and tap Cancel. Do this before the next renewal date to avoid being charged for another cycle.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
What Happens After You Cancel
However you cancel, paid features remain available through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Cancel a monthly plan on day 10 and you still have roughly 20 days of Pro access before the account drops to the free tier.1Akool Help Center. Subscription Plans – Section: Cancel Your Subscription The free tier provides basic features with limited access.
Previously generated content stays on Akool’s servers for 180 days by default. You can clear it yourself at any time from your account settings.4Akool. Akool Privacy Policy
Watch for a confirmation email. If one doesn’t arrive within a few hours, log back in and verify that your subscription status actually changed. Catching a failed cancellation now is much easier than disputing a renewal charge later.
Refunds
Akool does not issue refunds for accidental purchases or for missing a cancellation deadline. If you know you want to stop, cancel a few days before your renewal rather than the night before.5Akool Help Center. Billing Information
For refund requests under other circumstances, email info@akool.com with your transaction ID or the email address on your account. Approved refunds take 5 to 10 business days to process.5Akool Help Center. Billing Information
Canceling vs. Deleting Your Account
Canceling the subscription stops future charges but leaves the account in place. You can still log in, use the free tier, and view older content during the 180-day retention window. A separate Delete Account option in your settings removes the account entirely.
Deleting the account does not automatically cancel the subscription, and canceling does not delete the account. Cancel first to stop billing, then delete if you want your data gone. Doing it in the opposite order can leave an active subscription running on an account you can no longer easily reach.
If the Cancellation Won’t Go Through
If the Manage Plan button fails to respond, the automated flow stalls, or you spot a billing discrepancy, email info@akool.com. Include your account email and any transaction IDs so support can find the subscription quickly.5Akool Help Center. Billing Information
Akool subscriptions auto-renew by default. If support is slow to reply and your renewal date is close, you can remove your payment method as a backup through the payment management link in your billing dashboard, or by contacting Stripe directly.
