To cancel your Bark subscription, sign out of the question of “where do I click” and start with “who is actually charging me.” Bark subscriptions are billed either directly by Bark at bark.us or through the app store you signed up in — Apple, Google Play, or Amazon — and the cancellation only takes effect through the platform processing your payment. Cancel in the wrong place and the charges keep coming.
Check Who Bills You Before You Cancel
Log in at bark.us/login with your parent account credentials.1Bark Help Center. Sign in to Your Account Open your account settings and look at the billing or subscription section. A credit card on file with Bark means Bark bills you directly. A reference to Apple, Google, or Amazon means that company bills you and you have to cancel there. Canceling on Bark’s site does not stop an app store from charging you.
Cancel on the Bark Website

If no cancel option appears in your settings, that itself tells you something: your subscription is running through Apple or an affiliate partner, and you need to cancel there instead.2Bark Technologies. How Do I Cancel My Bark Account
Cancel Through Apple
Signed up on an iPhone or iPad? Apple handles the billing. Open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, find Bark, and tap Cancel Subscription.3Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple You can also get there through the App Store by tapping your profile icon and selecting Subscriptions. Either path stops future billing on your Apple ID. Access continues through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Cancel Through Google Play
On Android, open Settings, tap Google, then your name, then Manage your Google Account. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions, select Bark, and follow the cancellation prompts.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play Google bills independently of Bark’s own dashboard, so this is the only step that will stop the charges.
Cancel Through the Amazon Appstore
If Bark was installed on a Fire tablet or through the Amazon Appstore, Amazon processes the payments. From a browser, open your Amazon account, go to Your Apps under digital content, open Your Subscriptions, and cancel from there.5Amazon Customer Service. If You Have a Bark Phone or Bark Home
Canceling the monitoring service is not the whole story when hardware is involved. If you received a Bark Phone on an equipment installment plan and the device isn’t paid off, you have to pay the remaining balance before the account can close. If you got the phone free with a multi-year contract and want out early, there’s an early termination fee set as a percentage of the phone’s retail price: 100% in the first quarter of the commitment, 75% in the second, 50% in the third, and 25% in the final quarter.6Bark. Bark Phone Wireless Service Terms and Conditions On a $200 phone, that works out to between $50 and $200 depending on when you cancel.
If you want to keep the phone but drop the monitoring, Bark support can remove the software and the device will function as a standard Samsung phone. If you’re inside the return window, Bark emails you a return shipping label automatically after your paid period ends.2Bark Technologies. What Happens After You Cancel
Monitoring continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Hitting cancel doesn’t cut off access immediately.2Bark Technologies. How Do I Cancel My Bark Account Once that period ends, alerts and device monitoring stop.
Then the data clock starts. Bark deletes your payment information as soon as access ends and purges the rest of your account data — monitoring history, alerts, child profiles — after 15 days. If you want any of it, download or screenshot it before the subscription expires. If you want the data gone sooner, you can ask support for expedited deletion.2Bark Technologies. Refunds and Charges After Cancellation
Bark subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Canceling midway through a billing period leaves your access running through the end of that period but doesn’t produce a prorated credit for the unused time.
If a charge hits after you thought you canceled, the usual cause is a mismatch between where you canceled and where you’re actually billed — a Bark-site cancellation when Apple holds the subscription, or the reverse.
