How to Cancel Your Boosteroid Subscription: Web, Apple, and Google Play

To cancel a Boosteroid subscription, use the same platform you originally signed up through: cancel on the Boosteroid website if you subscribed directly at boosteroid.com, through the App Store if you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, or through Google Play if you subscribed on Android. Using the wrong channel does nothing, and the charges keep coming. That routing rule is the whole trick to how to cancel a Boosteroid subscription cleanly.

Whichever path applies, your access stays live through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Cancellation stops the next charge; it doesn’t shut off streaming today.

Cancel on the Boosteroid Website

Log in at cloud.boosteroid.com using the email tied to your subscription. Open your profile, find Plan Details, then Manage Subscription, and click Cancel Subscription. Follow the confirmation prompts to the end.

Boosteroid may ask why you’re leaving. Pick any reason and continue. What matters is reaching the final screen that confirms your plan will not renew. Take a screenshot of that confirmation. If a charge shows up later, that timestamp is your proof.

Cancel Through the Apple App Store

If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, Apple handles the billing and Boosteroid’s own dashboard can’t cancel it. On your device:

  • Open Settings.
  • Tap your name at the top.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap Boosteroid.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription.

You may need to scroll to find the cancel button. If you see a red expiration message, the subscription is already canceled.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Cancel Through Google Play

Android subscribers cancel through the Play Store. Open the Google Play app and go to your subscriptions, or reach it from device settings under Google → Manage Your Google Account → Payments & Subscriptions → Manage Subscriptions. Select Boosteroid, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

One trap catches a lot of Android users: uninstalling the Boosteroid app does not cancel the subscription. Google keeps billing you until you cancel through the Play Store’s subscription management. When the Cancel Button Isn’t There

Sometimes the option doesn’t appear, or you’ve lost access to the email you signed up with. Contact Boosteroid support directly. The company runs 24/7 live chat through its website and takes email at support@boosteroid.com. Say you want to cancel, provide what account details you have (email address, name, last four digits of the card on file), and ask for written confirmation once it’s processed.

Federal law backs you up. The Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act requires businesses that charge on a recurring basis to provide a simple way to stop those charges.3Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 8403 – Negative Option Marketing If a company makes cancellation unreasonably difficult, the FTC can treat it as an unfair or deceptive practice.

What Happens After You Cancel

Canceling stops future charges but doesn’t cut access immediately. You keep streaming through the end of your current billing cycle. Pay for a monthly plan on June 5 and you have access through July 4. Annual subscribers keep access until their twelve-month period expires.

After that, the account goes dormant. You can still log in, but you can’t stream games. Boosteroid may retain saved game data and profile settings for some period after cancellation; the published policies don’t specify an exact window. If you might return, leaving the dormant account in place keeps your progress available for reactivation.

If Charges Continue After You Cancel

Sometimes a charge slips through after cancellation. This is where the screenshot matters. Contact Boosteroid support first, show them the confirmation, and ask for a refund. Most billing errors at this stage clear up quickly.

If Boosteroid doesn’t cooperate, escalate to your bank. Tell them you revoked authorization for the company to charge your account and ask them to place a stop payment order blocking future Boosteroid charges. Banks generally charge a fee for stop payment orders, and the amount varies by institution.4Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Stop Automatic Payments From My Bank Account

Once you’ve revoked authorization, any further charges from the company are treated as errors under federal law, and you can dispute them and get your money back as long as you notify the bank promptly.4Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Stop Automatic Payments From My Bank Account Blocking payment through your bank doesn’t cancel the subscription itself, though. Cancel through the proper channel too, so the company doesn’t report a missed payment or send the balance to collections.

Deleting Your Account Is a Separate Step

Canceling and deleting are not the same thing. If you want your data removed, log into your account, open your profile, and look for the delete button in the lower-right corner. That creates a deletion request. You have 48 hours to change your mind by contacting support, after which Boosteroid deletes all your data permanently.5Boosteroid Cloud Gaming. Account Data

Cancel the subscription first, then delete. Deleting while a subscription is still active can complicate any refund for unused time, since you’d lose access to the billing dashboard needed to manage a dispute.
