To cancel a Crunch Labs subscription, log in at crunchlabs.com and either cancel outright (month-to-month plans) or switch off auto-renew (quarterly, semiannual, or annual plans). If you’d rather not use the site, email help@crunchlabs.com or call +1 650-267-2473 from the account holder’s contact info.1CrunchLabs. Check Which Plan You’re On
What “cancel” actually does depends on how you’re billed. Month-to-month subscribers can cancel or pause at any time. Quarterly, semiannual, and annual subscribers can only turn off auto-renew, which stops the next billing cycle but doesn’t cut off boxes you’ve already paid for.3CrunchLabs. FAQs and Help Center
The Build Box and Creative Kit ship monthly on quarterly or annual billing. The Hack Pack ships every two months on semiannual or annual billing. Your renewal date and billing frequency appear in your account dashboard once you log in.
Cancel Through Your Account
Sign in at crunchlabs.com with the email and password on the subscription. Click the account icon in the top header and open the subscription management area, where you’ll see your active plan and next renewal date.
On a month-to-month plan, choose the cancel option. The site walks through a few confirmation screens and may offer to pause instead. Click through to the final confirmation and watch for an on-screen notice that the cancellation is in place. Billing stops at the end of your current cycle.
On a prepaid plan, look for the auto-renew toggle rather than a cancel button. Switching it off means you still receive every box already paid for, and the plan simply doesn’t charge again when the term ends. This is the only self-service route for prepaid plans, because Crunch Labs does not pro-rate refunds on subscription kits.2CrunchLabs. Refund Policy
Cancel by Email or Phone
If you can’t get into your account, or you just want a written record, email help@crunchlabs.com from the address tied to the subscription. Use a subject line like “Cancel Subscription” and include the account holder’s full name and email. You can also call +1 650-267-2473 during business hours.1CrunchLabs. Imprint / Impressum
Email requests take a few business days. Wait for a confirmation reply before assuming it’s done. If you haven’t heard back within about a week, follow up or try the phone line, and keep copies of the correspondence in case a charge slips through later.
Pause Instead of Cancel
Month-to-month subscribers have a pause option that freezes the subscription without losing account settings or pricing.3CrunchLabs. FAQs and Help Center It’s useful if kits are piling up unbuilt or you want to skip the summer. The pause control sits in the same subscription management area as the cancel button.
What Happens to Money Already Paid
Subscription kits, including Build Boxes, Creative Kits, and Hack Packs, are not eligible for returns or refunds.2CrunchLabs. Refund Policy That covers prepaid annual plans too. Cancel halfway through an annual term and you’ll receive the remaining boxes, but you won’t get money back for the unused months.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are handled separately. Email help@crunchlabs.com with details as soon as the box arrives, and Crunch Labs evaluates those cases individually rather than issuing automatic replacements.2CrunchLabs. Refund Policy
If You Received a Gift Subscription
Gift subscriptions don’t auto-renew. They expire at the end of the prepaid term unless the recipient adds their own billing information.4CrunchLabs. CrunchLabs Gift Certificates If you never entered a card, there’s nothing to cancel. If you did add a card and the gift rolled into a recurring plan, follow the standard steps above.
If You’re Charged After Canceling
Check your confirmation email or screenshot first to verify the effective date. A charge queued before cancellation took effect can still post afterward.
If the charge is clearly unauthorized, contact Crunch Labs support and attach your cancellation confirmation. If they don’t resolve it in a reasonable timeframe, ask your card issuer or bank to dispute the charge; they can initiate a chargeback and block future transactions from the merchant. Filing a complaint at ftc.gov creates a formal record that strengthens the dispute. Federal rules require online subscription sellers to provide a simple way to stop future charges, so a company that ignores a valid cancellation request is on weak ground.5Federal Trade Commission.
