How to Cancel Your Dancebit Subscription: iPhone, Android, and Web

To cancel a Dancebit subscription, go to the same place you signed up: Apple’s Subscriptions settings on an iPhone or iPad, Google Play on Android, or Dancebit’s web portal if you subscribed through the site. Deleting the app does not cancel anything. The charges keep coming until you stop the renewal through the billing platform itself.

Dancebit bills through three separate channels, and each one can only be canceled from inside itself. Pick the wrong one and nothing happens.

Check your email for the original receipt. If the cancellation did go through and you have the confirmation, dispute the charge with your card issuer. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, write to the issuer at the billing-inquiries address, describe the error, and include your cancellation confirmation. The letter has to reach the issuer within 60 days of the first bill showing the error. The issuer then has 30 days to acknowledge your complaint and 90 days to resolve it, and you don’t have to pay the disputed amount while it’s open.9Federal Trade Commission.
