To cancel a Digestiplan subscription, email hello@digestiplan.com if you signed up on the Digestiplan website, or cancel through Apple or Google Play if that’s where you subscribed. Getting this wrong is the most common reason people keep seeing charges after they thought they had canceled. Uninstalling the app does not stop billing.
If You Signed Up on the Digestiplan Website
Send an email to hello@digestiplan.com asking to cancel. Include the email address you used when you registered so support can find your account, and if you still have the order confirmation, add the order number.1DigestiPlan. I Haven’t Received Anything After My Purchase The more you provide upfront, the fewer back-and-forth messages you’ll need.
Before emailing, log in and check your account or subscription settings for a self-service cancel option. If there is one, use it and screenshot the confirmation. That screenshot matters if charges keep coming.
Your access to meal plans and other features typically continues through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it doesn’t cut you off the same day.
If You Subscribed Through Apple or Google Play
Emailing Digestiplan won’t stop billing that runs through the App Store or Google Play. The payment lives with the platform, so the cancellation has to happen there.
On iPhone or iPad
Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Digestiplan, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see a cancel button and instead see an expiration message in red, the subscription is already canceled.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
On Android
Open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, then go to Payments & subscriptions and select Subscriptions. Tap Digestiplan, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts to confirm. You keep access for the remainder of the time you already paid for.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Google Play also offers a pause option of one week to three months on some subscriptions, which stops charges while keeping the account intact.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Requesting a Refund
Digestiplan handles refund requests on a case-by-case basis rather than offering an automatic money-back guarantee. Email hello@digestiplan.com and explain your situation.1DigestiPlan. I Haven’t Received Anything After My Purchase The sooner you ask, the stronger your case. Waiting several billing cycles makes approval much less likely.
If you paid through the App Store or Google Play, the refund request has to go through them, not Digestiplan. For Apple, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, open the app, go to your purchase history, and select the transaction you want to dispute. Their policies govern whether you get money back.
Whichever route you take, save every confirmation email and screenshot every cancellation screen. If you end up disputing with your bank, those records are the difference between winning and losing.
If Charges Continue After You Cancel
Start with Digestiplan support at hello@digestiplan.com and attach your cancellation confirmation. A billing cycle already in progress when you canceled may still post, and support can usually sort that out.
If the company doesn’t resolve it, your bank or card issuer is the next step. For debit card or bank account charges, federal law lets you stop future preauthorized transfers by notifying your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled payment. You can do this orally or in writing, though the bank may ask for written confirmation within fourteen days of a phone call.4Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 U.S. Code 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers Once you revoke authorization, any further payments the company pulls are errors and your bank should refund them.5Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Stop Automatic Payments From My Bank Account
For credit card charges, contact your card issuer and dispute the transaction as a billing error. You generally need to file within 60 days of the statement showing the charge. The issuer will investigate and may post a temporary credit while it reviews the claim.
Your bank may also suggest a stop payment order to block future charges. Banks typically charge $15 to $50 for this. It’s a blunt tool, but effective when a company keeps billing after a valid cancellation. Keep the cancellation confirmation, every message with the company, and any stop payment paperwork.
What Happens to Your Account After You Cancel
You keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. Cancel halfway through a monthly cycle and you’ll still have the platform for the rest of that month. When the period runs out, access to meal plans, tracking features, and support materials ends.
If you’ve saved recipes, grocery lists, or other content, download or screenshot anything you want to keep before your access expires. There’s no guarantee the company will let you retrieve that data after the account deactivates.
