How to Cancel Your Enneagram Test Subscription

To cancel an Enneagram test subscription, go to whichever service is actually billing you — the test provider’s website, the Apple or Google app store, or PayPal — and cancel there. The cancel path depends entirely on how you signed up, so the first job is figuring out who is charging you. Once you know that, the cancellation itself takes a few minutes.

Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You

Pull up your bank or credit card statement and look for the recurring charge. Enneagram sites don’t always bill under the brand name you remember. You might see something like “ENNEAGRAMTEST.SITE,” “Character Types LLC,” or a generic payment processor. The charge usually sits somewhere between $1 and $40.

A common pattern is a $0.99 trial that converts to a monthly charge of $30 or more within a day or two. If you took a test recently and a surprise charge appeared, that trial likely rolled over automatically.

Once you have the merchant name, search your email for receipts or welcome messages. The email address on those receipts is almost always the login for your account. If you can’t find a provider email, the billing is probably running through Apple, Google Play, or PayPal rather than the test site directly. Each one has its own cancellation path.

Cancel on the Provider’s Website

If you signed up on the test site itself and paid with a card, log in and look for a profile icon or menu in the upper corner. Navigate to “Account Settings,” “Billing,” or “Subscription.” Most providers put a “Cancel Membership” or “Stop Auto-Renew” button on that page. Click it, confirm, and wait for the status to update.

Not every site offers self-service cancellation. Enneagramtest.com, for example, requires you to cancel by calling 855-932-2855 or emailing support@enneagramtest.com.1Enneagram Test. Terms of Use If your account dashboard has no cancel button, check the site’s terms of use or FAQ for contact instructions. Put your cancellation request in writing (email is fine) so you have a dated record of what you asked for.

Cancel Through Apple

If you subscribed inside an iPhone or iPad app, the test provider can’t cancel for you. Apple controls the billing. Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap “Subscriptions.”2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple You’ll see every active and expired subscription on your Apple Account. Tap the Enneagram app and cancel.

You keep access through the end of the current billing cycle. If your renewal is June 15 and you cancel on June 3, the subscription stays live until June 15.

Cancel Through Google Play

Android subscriptions purchased inside an app are billed by Google. Open the Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then go to “Payments & Subscriptions” and “Subscriptions.” Find the Enneagram app, tap it, and select “Cancel Subscription.” Google will ask you to confirm, and like Apple, you keep access through the rest of your paid period with no further charges after that.3Google Play Help. Cancel Through PayPal

If you paid with PayPal, the recurring charge may live inside your PayPal account as an automatic payment, independent of anything the test provider shows you. Even if you’ve already canceled on the provider’s site, this one is worth checking.

Log into PayPal, go to Settings, click “Payments,” then “Subscriptions and saved businesses” (sometimes labeled “Automatic Payments”). Find the merchant and cancel the automatic payment. In the app, open the menu, tap “Subscriptions” or “Linked Businesses,” pick the merchant, and tap “Stop Paying with PayPal.”4PayPal. Automatic Payment – Update Recurring Payments PayPal automatic payments can keep running even after you cancel at the provider, so this step matters.

Confirm the Cancellation Actually Went Through

Don’t assume you’re done until you have proof. Check three things:

  • A confirmation email from the provider or payment platform, usually within a few hours. If nothing arrives in 24 hours, log back in and check your status.
  • Your account dashboard should show an expiration date instead of a next billing date. Screenshot it with the date visible.
  • Watch your bank or card statement through one full billing cycle to make sure no new charge posts.

Save the confirmation email and the screenshot. If a charge comes through anyway, that documentation is what you’ll use to dispute it.

Asking for a Refund

Refund rules vary. Some personality test sites refund within 30 days, but only the most recent payment on the subscription. Others won’t refund digital content you’ve already accessed. If a trial quietly converted to a full subscription, you have a stronger case for a refund regardless of the stated policy.

Start by emailing the provider directly. Include your account details and reference the specific charge. If the provider refuses or ignores you, the next step is your bank or card issuer.

If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel

Stop the Payment at Your Bank (Debit Card)

Federal law lets you shut off recurring debit charges at the bank level. Under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, you can block a preauthorized recurring transfer by notifying your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled charge. You can do this by phone or in writing, though the bank may require written confirmation within 14 days if you called it in.5Office of the Law Revision Counsel. United States Code Title 15 – 1693e Preauthorized Transfers Banks usually charge a fee for a stop payment order.

Dispute the Charge (Credit Card)

Credit card charges follow a different track. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you have 60 days from the date the statement containing the error was sent to submit a written dispute to your card issuer.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. United States Code Title 15 – 1666 Correction of Billing Errors Your notice has to include your name and account number, identify the charge you believe is wrong, and explain why. Send it to the billing inquiries address on your statement, not the payment address.

The issuer must acknowledge the dispute within 30 days and resolve it within two billing cycles, with a 90-day cap.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. United States Code Title 15 – 1666 Correction of Billing Errors While that investigation is open, the issuer can’t try to collect the disputed amount or report it as delinquent. Attach your cancellation confirmation and the dated screenshot to the dispute letter to show you canceled before the charge posted.
