How to Cancel Your Flowkey Subscription and Get a Refund

To cancel a flowkey subscription, you need to cancel in the same place you subscribed: the flowkey website, Apple’s App Store, or Google Play. Each one bills independently, so canceling in the wrong place won’t stop the charges. Flowkey recommends completing the cancellation at least 24 hours before your renewal date.1flowkey Help Center. Find Out Which Platform Is Charging You

Start by checking your email or bank statement for the original receipt. A charge from “FLOWKEY.COM” means you subscribed directly through the website. “APPLE.COM/BILL” means the App Store. A line referencing Google or “GOOGLE*FLOWKEY” means Google Play. If the email is missing, search your spam folder for the subject line “Welcome to flowkey Premium.”2flowkey Help Center. This step matters because flowkey cannot cancel or refund subscriptions that were purchased through Apple or Google. Logging into flowkey.com and hunting for a cancel button won’t work if your money is going through the App Store.

Cancel on the Flowkey Website

If you subscribed directly at flowkey.com, cancel from the web app on a laptop or desktop:

  • Log in at flowkey.com in a browser.
  • Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner to open Settings.
  • Click Account.
  • Click Unsubscribe and confirm.

Finish this at least 24 hours before your renewal date so the system has time to process it.1flowkey Help Center. How Do I Unsubscribe from flowkey Premium

Cancel Through Apple on iPhone or iPad

If you subscribed through the App Store, you have to cancel inside Apple’s system. Deleting the flowkey app does nothing to stop the charges.

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name at the top.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap flowkey.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm. You may need to scroll down to find the button. If you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.

Apple processes the cancellation right away and shows an expiration date for your remaining access.3Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple Take a screenshot of that confirmation in case a billing dispute comes up later.

Cancel Through Google Play on Android

Android users who subscribed through the Play Store have to cancel there. Uninstalling the app will not stop charges.

  • Open the Google Play Store app.
  • Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  • Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  • Select flowkey.
  • Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Canceling Before a Free Trial Converts

Flowkey’s yearly plans include a free 7-day trial that converts automatically into a paid yearly subscription when it ends. To avoid a charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.5flowkey Help Center. Which Subscription Plans Are Available

What You Keep After Canceling

Cancellation does not cut off your access immediately. You keep full premium content until the current billing period ends. When that period runs out, the account drops to the free tier. Saved songs and learning progress stay in place, but the premium library closes off.

Asking for a Refund After a Renewal Charge

If a renewal already hit your card, you can request a refund, though approval is not guaranteed. Where you ask depends on who billed you.

If the Charges Keep Coming

If you have canceled through the right platform and renewals still appear, the Electronic Fund Transfer Act gives you the right to stop a preauthorized electronic payment by notifying your bank or card issuer at least three business days before the scheduled charge.9Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 U.S. Code 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers Your bank may ask you to follow up in writing within 14 days of that initial request.
