To cancel your Hone Health subscription, submit the Membership Cancellation Form on the Hone Health Help Center at help.honehealth.com. There are no early termination fees, and your cancellation takes effect the moment you submit the form, even if support takes a day or two to process it. The two things to get right: cancel before your next billing date, and separately ask support to stop any pending prescription shipments, because those do not end automatically with your membership.
Three Ways To Cancel
Hone Health accepts cancellation requests through three channels. The dedicated form is the fastest and leaves the clearest record.
- Membership Cancellation Form. Go to help.honehealth.com, open the “Forms” section, fill out the Membership Cancellation Form, and submit. The cancellation date is recorded as the moment you hit submit, and the team typically processes the request within one to two business days.
- Email. Write to support@honehealth.com and say you want to cancel. Include your full name and the email address on your account so support can find it.
- Text. Message Hone Health’s support line at 1-833-444-4483.1Hone Health. Contact Hone Health
Save a screenshot or a copy of whatever you submit. If a charge shows up later and you need to dispute it, that timestamp is your evidence.
Timing Your Cancellation Around the Billing Cycle
Hone bills monthly, so timing matters. If you cancel before your next billing cycle starts, you will not be charged for the upcoming month. If a charge posts after you submit your cancellation, Hone will fully refund it. The policy accounts for processing delays: submit on a Thursday, renewal hits Friday, support processes on Monday, and the Friday charge still gets refunded because your cancellation date is Thursday.2Hone Health. Hone does not prorate. If you cancel partway through a month you have already paid for, there is no partial refund for the remaining days. You keep access through the end of that billing period, but the unused time is not refunded.2Hone Health. Hone Health Order Cancellation and Refund Policy
To find your renewal date, log in and check your account or subscription settings. Knowing where you sit in the cycle before you cancel keeps everything clean.
Stop Prescription Shipments Separately
This is where most people get caught. Canceling your membership does not automatically stop pending prescription shipments. Hone treats the two as separate systems, so a medication order already in the pipeline will keep processing and billing after your membership ends.2Hone Health. Hone Health Order Cancellation and Refund Policy
To halt a pending shipment, email support@honehealth.com and ask them to cancel future prescription orders. The reverse also applies: canceling a prescription order does not cancel your membership, and the monthly fee will keep hitting on your renewal date unless you separately ask for the membership to end.
If the medication charge posted less than 48 hours ago and the pharmacy has not yet processed it, you may be eligible for a full refund. Orders already processed or shipped cannot be canceled or refunded. Approved refunds take five to ten business days to appear on your original payment method.2Hone Health. Medication charges typically hit about one week before your previous shipment runs out, so the window to act is short. If you know you are canceling, contact support about prescriptions at the same time you submit the cancellation form.
What You Cannot Get Refunded
Lab fees are non-refundable once your kit has shipped. At-home lab kits are single-use medical equipment, and Hone cannot reuse or resell them once they leave the warehouse.2Hone Health. Hone Health Order Cancellation and Refund Policy
Dispensed prescription medications work the same way. Federal regulations prohibit pharmacies from taking back and reselling prescription drugs once dispensed and shipped, so Hone cannot refund delivered medications regardless of whether you have used them.2Hone Health. Confirm the Cancellation Went Through
After you submit, watch for a confirmation email from Hone. That message is your receipt that the membership has been terminated. If nothing arrives within two business days, follow up at support@honehealth.com or text 1-833-444-4483 and ask for written confirmation.1Hone Health. Contact Hone Health
Log in and check that your subscription status shows as canceled. Then keep an eye on your bank or credit card statements for at least two billing cycles. If an unexpected charge appears, Hone’s policy already provides for full refunds on charges posted after a cancellation submission, so start with support rather than a chargeback. A chargeback filed before contacting the company can complicate things with a healthcare provider you may still need for records or prescription transfer paperwork.
Get Your Medical Records Before You Go
Canceling does not erase your medical records. Under HIPAA, you can request copies of your protected health information for as long as the provider maintains it, including lab results, consultation notes, and treatment plans generated during your membership. The provider must respond within 30 days and can take a single 30-day extension, but only with a written explanation for the delay.4eCFR. 45 CFR 164.524 – Access of Individuals to Protected Health Information
If you are moving to a new clinic for ongoing hormone therapy, request your records before or right after you cancel. Sending your baseline labs and treatment history to your next provider saves duplicate blood work and keeps continuity in your care. Email the request to support@honehealth.com and specify which records you need.
