How to Cancel Your Kidslox Subscription: iPhone, Android, Web

To cancel a Kidslox subscription, go to the platform that processed your original payment: your Apple ID subscriptions on an iPhone or iPad, your Google Play subscriptions on Android, or your account page at kidslox.com if you subscribed through the website. Deleting the app from any device does not stop the charges. Apple and Google treat app deletion and subscription cancellation as entirely separate actions, so you can remove Kidslox today and still be billed for months.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple A cancellation is only confirmed when your subscription management screen no longer shows an active renewal date.

Find Out Who Is Actually Charging You

Check your bank or credit card statement for the merchant name on the recurring charge. Apple purchases typically appear as “apple.com/bill” or “itunes.com/bill.”2Apple Support. Get Help With Charges From apple.com/bill Google Play charges usually show “GOOGLE*Kidslox” or a similar line with a Google prefix. If neither matches, the subscription was likely purchased directly from kidslox.com, and the statement will show a payment processor name such as Stripe or Braintree instead.

You will need the login credentials for whichever account made the original purchase: your Apple ID, your Google account, or your Kidslox parent account.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

If the charge is coming from Apple, open the Settings app and tap your name at the top. Tap Subscriptions, find Kidslox in the list, and tap Cancel Subscription. Confirm when prompted. The screen then shows the date your current billing period ends, and premium features remain active until that date.3Apple Support. See Your Purchases and Subscriptions in the App Store on iPhone

If you do not have an Apple device handy, sign in at apps.apple.com with your Apple ID and manage the subscription from the web.

Mind the 24-Hour Renewal Window

Apple can process a renewal charge up to 24 hours before your billing period ends. Cancel at least a full day before the renewal date, not on the day itself.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple This trips people up with free trials especially. Waiting until day seven of a seven-day trial often means the charge has already been queued.

Cancel on Android Through Google Play

Android subscriptions live in the Google Play Store, not in the device’s main Settings. Open the Play Store, tap your profile icon in the top right, then tap Payments and Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Kidslox, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts. You can do the same thing from any browser at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions by signing in with the Google account that made the purchase.4Google Play Help. Pause Instead of Cancel

Google Play offers a pause option on some subscriptions that temporarily suspends billing without ending the account. If Kidslox supports it, a Pause payments option appears on the management screen, with durations from one week to three months, taking effect at the end of your current billing cycle.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play This keeps your account configuration in place if you plan to come back.

Cancel a Subscription Bought on the Kidslox Website

If you subscribed at kidslox.com directly, neither Apple nor Google can cancel for you. Log into your parent account at kidslox.com (or enter your Kidslox PIN if already signed in), select Account, then Kidslox subscription, scroll down, and tap Cancel subscription. Confirm when asked. The recurring charge authorization is then removed.5Kidslox. How Can I Cancel My Kidslox Subscription Purchased on Kidslox Website

One boundary worth knowing: the one-time lifetime plan has no recurring charge, so there is nothing to cancel. Cancellation only applies to monthly, quarterly, and annual plans.

What Happens After You Cancel

Canceling stops future charges. It does not cut off access right away. Premium features stay on until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and then the account drops to the free tier.

The free tier is limited. It covers one child device and allows manual mode switching only five times per day, with other features unavailable.6Kidslox. What Are the Differences Between Kidslox Premium and Free Plans If you have more than one child device connected, oversight disappears on all but one once the paid period ends. Line up a replacement before that date if continuous supervision matters.

You should receive a confirmation email after canceling. Keep it. If a charge later appears on your statement, that email is your evidence when disputing it with your bank or the platform.

Getting a Refund for a Recent Charge

Cancellation stops the next charge but does not refund the current one. Kidslox does not offer prorated refunds under standard terms. Apple and Google both have refund processes that are worth trying for an unwanted or unexpected renewal.

For Apple charges, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, select Request a refund, choose a reason, and submit the Kidslox transaction. Apple usually responds within 24 to 48 hours.7Apple Support.
