How to Cancel Your Lean App Subscription and Get a Refund

To cancel a Lean app subscription, go to the platform where you originally signed up — the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the Lean with Lilly website — and cancel through your account settings there. Deleting the app from your phone does not stop the charges. The subscription is a recurring payment agreement held by the platform that took your money, and it keeps renewing until you cancel it at the source.

Figure Out Which Platform Is Billing You

Before doing anything else, check a recent bank or credit card statement for the charge. If the descriptor reads something like “APPLE.COM/BILL,” you subscribed through the App Store and have to cancel through Apple. If it references Google, cancel through Google Play. If the charge comes directly from Lean Fitness Limited or shows a Stripe payment, you signed up on the leanwithlilly.com website and need to cancel there.

The cancellation only works from the platform that’s actually billing you. Trying to cancel through the wrong one won’t stop the charges.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

If you subscribed through the App Store:

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name at the top of the screen.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Find and tap the Lean with Lilly entry.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription.

If there’s no Cancel button, or if you see an expiration date in red text, the subscription is already canceled. On smaller screens you may need to scroll down to reach the cancellation option.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple

You can also do this from inside the App Store app itself: tap your profile icon, tap Subscriptions, and follow the same steps.

For subscriptions purchased through Google Play:

  • Open the Google Play app.
  • Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  • Select Lean with Lilly.
  • Tap Cancel subscription.
  • Follow the prompts to confirm.

Google will send a confirmation email once cancellation processes. Save it. If a charge appears later and you need to dispute it, that email is your proof.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Cancel Through the Lean with Lilly Website

If you signed up directly on leanwithlilly.com instead of through an app store, your cancellation runs through the same site. Your original signup confirmation email should contain a link to a payment portal where you can manage the subscription. Open that email and use the link to reach your billing settings.

If you can’t find the email or the link no longer works, contact support at genflow-leanwithlilly@email.dixa.io. Include the email address on your account and ask for cancellation in writing.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date. If you cut it closer than that, the next payment can process before the cancellation goes through.

Cancel a Free Trial Before It Converts

Lean with Lilly offers free trial periods, commonly 7 or 14 days depending on the promotion, that convert automatically into a paid subscription when the trial ends. No reminder goes out the day before. If you don’t want to be billed, cancel before the trial expires.

On both Apple and Google Play, you can cancel right after starting a free trial and still keep access for the full trial window. Waiting until the last day is risky because time zones and processing delays can push the charge through before your cancellation registers.

What Happens After You Cancel

Canceling stops future charges but doesn’t cut off your access on the spot. You keep full use of the app through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. If your subscription renews on the 20th and you cancel on the 5th, you still have access for the remaining 15 days. After that, the app drops back to whatever free content is available, if any.

Check your statement for one full billing cycle after you cancel. If another charge appears, something didn’t go through, and you can either dispute it with your bank or request a refund from the platform.

Request a Refund If You Were Charged After Canceling

If a charge slipped through after you thought you’d canceled, or a free trial converted before you could opt out, you can ask the platform that processed the payment for a refund.

Apple

Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account. Tap “I’d like to,” choose “Request a refund,” select a reason, and pick the Lean with Lilly charge from your purchase history. Apple usually responds within a few days, though harder cases take longer.3Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought from Apple

Google Play

Go to play.google.com, click your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history. Find the Lean with Lilly charge, click “Report a problem,” and fill out the refund request. Google typically decides within one business day and up to four.4Google Play Help. Neither Apple nor Google guarantees a refund. Your odds go up when you ask soon after the charge, especially for a trial-to-paid conversion you didn’t intend. Asking months later for a refund on multiple past billing cycles rarely succeeds.
