How to Cancel Your Living Scriptures Subscription: Refunds and Trials

To cancel a Living Scriptures subscription, cancel through whichever company is actually charging you: Living Scriptures directly (online at your account page or by phone at 800-548-4647), or the app store or payment service you originally signed up through. That distinction is where most people go wrong, so the first move is figuring out who is billing you.

Check Your Statement First

Pull up your bank or credit card statement and look at the merchant name on the charge. If it reads “Living Scriptures” or something close, you subscribed on their website and need to cancel with them. If the charge shows Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon, or PayPal, that platform is the one collecting your money, and canceling on the Living Scriptures site alone will not stop the charges. You have to cancel where the money is being taken.

If Charges Keep Coming

For debit or ACH transactions, the Electronic Fund Transfer Act lets you stop a preauthorized recurring payment by notifying your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled transfer.
