To cancel a Luma AI subscription, you have to cancel in the same place you signed up: through the Dream Machine website if you subscribed on the web, or through your iPhone’s Subscriptions settings if you subscribed in the iOS app. The two use separate billing systems, and canceling in the wrong one won’t stop the charges.1Luma AI. First, Check Where You’re Being Billed
Pull up your bank or credit card statement. A charge labeled “Luma” or “Stripe” means you subscribed on the web. A charge labeled “Apple” or “apple.com/bill” means you subscribed through the iOS app. Luma AI has no Android app, so Android users are on the web version.
This matters because Apple is the merchant of record for App Store purchases. If you signed up in the iPhone app and try to cancel from the Luma website, nothing happens. The reverse is also true.
Canceling on the Web
Log in at the Dream Machine site and click your profile picture in the bottom-left corner. Open the Subscription tab, then click Manage Subscription. That opens the Stripe billing interface.1Luma AI. How Do I Cancel My Subscription?
Select the cancel option. Stripe may show a retention offer or ask why you’re leaving before the final confirmation. Click through, and your subscription is marked for non-renewal. Luma doesn’t publish a cutoff deadline before renewal. Cancel at least a day or two before your billing date to be safe. If you wait until the day of renewal, the charge may process before the cancellation registers.
Canceling on iPhone

You can also start from inside the app. Tap your profile picture in the bottom-left corner, open the Subscription tab, and tap Manage Subscription. That redirects to the same App Store screen. What Happens After You Cancel
Cancellation doesn’t cut you off right away. You keep your paid features until the end of the current billing period. Cancel on the 3rd of a month that renews on the 15th, and you still have paid access through the 15th.2Luma AI. Dream Machine Guide: Payments and Subscriptions
Your projects and generated content stay in your account. Canceling stops future billing. It doesn’t delete anything you’ve already made.2Luma AI. Dream Machine Guide: Payments and Subscriptions
Unused credits do not roll over, so spend what you have before the paid period ends. Once the paid period expires, your account drops to the free plan rather than disappearing. The free tier limits credits, resolution, and processing priority, adds watermarks, and restricts you to non-commercial use.4Luma AI. Dream Machine Plans and Credits

Getting a Refund
Luma’s general position is that payments are final. They will consider refund requests within 30 days of a subscription starting or renewing, provided the plan has been mostly unused. Deleting the Account Is a Separate Step
Canceling stops billing. Deleting wipes the account. If you only want the charges to stop, cancellation is all you need. If you also want your videos, prompts, credits, and plan details erased, go to the bottom of your Account page on the web platform and click the red Delete Account button. If the Cancellation Doesn’t Take
Check your statement during the next billing cycle. If a new charge appeared, the cancellation didn’t go through.
