How to Cancel Your Luxy Subscription: Apple, Google Play, PayPal

To cancel your Luxy subscription, you have to go through whichever platform processes your payments: Apple, Google Play, or Luxy’s own website. Canceling inside the Luxy app or uninstalling it does nothing to your billing. With Luxy BLACK starting at $99.99 per month and packages running up to $449.99, and Luxy PLATINUM at $999 for three months, a missed cancellation gets expensive quickly.1Apple App Store. Find Out Who Is Billing You

Check a recent card or bank statement for the Luxy charge. The descriptor tells you where to cancel. “Apple.com/Bill” means Apple. “GOOGLE*Luxy” means Google Play. A charge that references “Luxy” or “onluxy.com” directly means you subscribed through Luxy’s website or PayPal. Follow the wrong platform’s steps and the charges keep coming.

Have the login ready for whichever platform you identified: your Apple Account, your Google account, or your onluxy.com credentials. It saves a password reset in the middle of the process.

Cancel Through Apple

On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Every active subscription on your Apple Account appears there. Tap Luxy, select Cancel Subscription, and confirm.2Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple If there is no cancel button and you see an expiration message in red, it is already canceled.

No iPhone on hand? Go to account.apple.com in any browser, sign in, and manage subscriptions from there. This works from an Android phone or a desktop.2Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Cancel Through Google Play

Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon in the top right, then Payments & subscriptions. Choose Subscriptions, find Luxy, tap Cancel subscription, and confirm. Auto-renewal stops after that.3Luxy. How Do I Cancel the Auto-Renewal?

If the original device is gone, use any browser at play.google.com. Sign in, go to Payments & subscriptions, and follow the same path. The subscription lives on your Google account, not the phone.

Cancel Through Luxy’s Website or PayPal

If your statement shows a direct Luxy charge, log in at onluxy.com, click the Settings icon, and open the Payments tab. Under Automatic payments, click “Manage automatic payments,” select the Luxy payment, and click Cancel. Do this at least one day before your next scheduled payment or you will be charged again.3Luxy. How Do I Cancel the Auto-Renewal?

If you paid with PayPal, those same website steps work because Luxy routes PayPal through its automatic payment system. You can also cancel from inside PayPal: Settings, then Payments, then Manage automatic payments, and cancel the Luxy authorization.

Deleting the App Does Not Cancel Billing

This is where people lose money. Removing Luxy from your phone has no effect on your subscription. Apple and Google manage subscriptions at the account level, independent of whether the app is installed. Uninstall without canceling through the right platform and the charges keep arriving on schedule.

Deactivating your Luxy account is also not the same thing. Luxy’s FAQ describes deactivation as a way to temporarily disable your profile, with reactivation available later.3Luxy. How Do I Cancel the Auto-Renewal? That process does not touch billing. Cancel through Apple, Google, or Luxy’s website first; deactivate afterward if you also want the profile hidden.

Requesting a Refund

If a charge went through after you thought you canceled, request a refund from whichever platform billed you. Neither Apple nor Google guarantees refunds, but both have a process.

For Apple, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, tap “I’d like to,” and choose “Request a refund.” Pick your reason, select the Luxy charge, and submit. Apple usually responds in 24 to 48 hours.4Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple You can only request a refund on a fully processed charge, so wait for the email receipt if it is still pending.

For Google Play, go to play.google.com, click your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history. Find the Luxy charge, click “Report a problem,” pick the option that fits, note you want a refund, and submit.5Google Play. Request a Refund on Google Play

For a direct charge from Luxy, your options narrow. Luxy’s terms let you end your membership at any time but do not promise prorated refunds.6Luxy. Luxy Terms of Use If the company refuses and you believe the charge was unauthorized, your next step is your bank.

Going to Your Bank as a Last Resort

If charges keep appearing after you canceled through the right platform, or you can no longer access the account that was used to subscribe, you can revoke the company’s authorization to charge you. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recommends calling your bank, telling them you have revoked authorization for the company to take automatic payments, and following up in writing.7Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Stop Automatic Payments From My Bank Account?

Under federal law, you can stop a preauthorized electronic fund transfer by notifying your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled charge. The bank may ask you to confirm the stop-payment order in writing within 14 days. If you do not send that written confirmation, the oral stop-payment request expires after 14 days.8eCFR. 12 CFR 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers Once authorization is revoked, any further charge the company initiates counts as an error you can dispute with your bank.

Treat this as a fallback. Canceling directly through Apple, Google, or Luxy creates a cleaner paper trail and avoids trouble with your account standing on those platforms.

Your Rights Under the FTC’s Click-to-Cancel Rule

The FTC finalized its “click-to-cancel” rule in late 2024. It requires businesses to make cancellation as simple as the original signup, so if you subscribed online, you must be able to cancel online. The rule also requires clear disclosure of renewal terms before a company collects your payment information, and explicit consent before any charge.9Federal Trade Commission. Federal Trade Commission Announces Final Click-to-Cancel Rule

A service that forces a phone call when you signed up online, or hides the cancel option behind layers of screens, may be violating the rule. File a complaint at ftc.gov/complaint. The FTC will not refund you directly, but complaints feed enforcement cases.

What Happens After You Cancel

Look for a confirmation email or an on-screen status change. Screenshot it. If a billing dispute surfaces months later, that screenshot is your evidence.

You keep premium access through the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that, your profile drops to the free tier. Canceling stops future charges but does not trigger a prorated refund for unused time on most subscription platforms.

If you also want your profile gone, open Settings in the Luxy app or on the website and choose Deactivate Account. That hides you from other users. Canceling and deactivating are separate actions, and doing one without the other leaves either your billing active or your profile still visible.
