If you’d rather talk to a person, or if you can’t get into your account, call Mazda’s Customer Experience Center at (800) 222-5500. The representative verifies your identity with your VIN and account email, then cancels on their end. Ask for a confirmation or reference number before you hang up. That number is your proof if a charge shows up later.
The phone route is also the fix for login problems. A representative can handle password issues and cancellation in the same call.
What Happens After You Cancel

The In-Car Wi-Fi Hotspot Is a Separate Subscription
Canceling Mazda Connected Services does not cancel your in-car Wi-Fi hotspot. The hotspot runs through a separate cellular carrier and bills you separately. You have to cancel that one on its own.
Check your credit card statements to see who is actually charging you, because the line item will show the carrier’s name rather than Mazda’s. If your hotspot plan is with AT&T, sign in to your AT&T wireless account online, select the vehicle’s phone number, and choose Cancel my plan. For plans purchased through AT&T’s MyVehicle portal, sign in there, select the vehicle, and use the account dashboard to cancel the plan or turn off auto-renew.6AT&T. Cancel Connected Car Data Plans On a prepaid plan, turning off auto-renew stops future charges while leaving the Wi-Fi usable until your balance runs out.
If You’re Selling the Car
Canceling the subscription is not enough when the vehicle is changing hands. You also need to remove the car from your MyMazda profile. In the app, open MyMazda, then My Vehicle, then Delete Vehicle. If a paid subscription is still active, cancel it first by choosing Unsubscribe Connection Services before deleting.
This matters for the buyer: the new owner cannot register the vehicle in their own MyMazda app while it is still linked to yours. For a car still on the complimentary trial, deleting the vehicle from your profile is enough on its own, with no separate unsubscription step. Removing the vehicle also severs your access to its location data and remote controls, which is the clean outcome for both sides.
If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel
Save your cancellation confirmation email, any reference numbers from phone calls, and a screenshot of the cancellation screen. That documentation makes a credit card dispute easy if a charge appears after your paid period ends.
Under the FTC’s click-to-cancel rule, which took effect in 2025, subscription sellers must make canceling as simple as signing up and must stop charges once you cancel.7Federal Trade Commission.
