How to Cancel Your MDhair Subscription: Deadline, Methods, Refunds

To cancel an MDhair subscription, log into your account at mdhair.co, go to Manage Membership, and end the subscription there; you can also cancel by emailing support@mdhair.co or calling 1-833-257-1914. Whichever route you take, do it at least five business days before your next billing date, or the next shipment will process and ship anyway.

The Five Business Day Deadline Is What Actually Matters

MDhair requires cancellations at least five business days before your next scheduled billing and shipping date.1MDhair. Cancellation Try to cancel the same day a charge is scheduled and the company warns it’s “very unlikely” they can stop it. Once the card is charged, the order goes to the warehouse for immediate processing.

Find your next billing date in your account or your last confirmation email, then count back five business days. Weekends don’t count. That is your real deadline. If you’re close to the wire, cancel through the website rather than email, because email replies can take up to 72 hours.

Cancel Through Your MDhair Account

The website is the fastest option. Sign in and go to mdhair.co/account_settings/manage_membership, then follow the prompts to end the subscription.1MDhair. Cancellation

MDhair sends a confirmation email once the cancellation goes through. No email usually means the cancellation didn’t actually process, so reach out through chat or email support@mdhair.co to verify the account is closed.1MDhair. Cancellation Take a screenshot of any on-screen confirmation you see. That screenshot is your proof if a charge appears afterward.

Cancel by Email or Phone

If the portal isn’t working or you’d rather have a person handle it, MDhair supports two other channels.

By email, write to support@mdhair.co. Include your full name, the email address on the account, and an order ID from a past confirmation. Responses generally arrive within 24 to 72 hours. Save the reply confirming cancellation; that email is your receipt.

By phone, call 1-833-257-1914. Support is open Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and closed Sunday through Tuesday. Write down the date, time, and name of the representative who confirms your cancellation.

If You Subscribed Through Apple, Google Play, or PayPal

Cancelling on MDhair’s website will not stop charges billed through a third-party platform. You have to cancel with whoever handles the billing.

Apple

Open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, find MDhair, and tap Cancel Subscription.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple If there’s no cancel button or you see an expiration message in red, it’s already canceled. If MDhair doesn’t show up at all, search your email for “receipt from Apple” to confirm you’re in the correct Apple account. No Apple receipt means you subscribed directly on MDhair’s website, so cancel there.

Google Play

Open the Google Play app, go to your subscriptions, tap MDhair, and tap Cancel Subscription.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play Deleting the app does not cancel anything. You’ll keep being charged until you complete the cancellation steps inside Google Play. Access continues through whatever period you’ve already paid for.

PayPal

Turning off the auto-payment inside PayPal blocks future charges but does not close your MDhair account, and that mismatch can create billing complications on MDhair’s side. Cancel with MDhair first, then adjust your PayPal settings.1MDhair. Cancellation

If You Just Want More Time Between Shipments

You don’t have to cancel to slow things down. MDhair lets you push your next billing date further out, which skips an upcoming shipment while leaving the subscription active.1MDhair. Cancellation Billing-date changes still need to happen at least five business days before the currently scheduled date to apply to that cycle.

If MDhair Keeps Charging You After You Cancel

If charges continue after you’ve cancelled, dispute them with your card issuer. Most banks let you file a chargeback online or through the number on the back of the card. The Federal Trade Commission recommends filing a dispute when a company won’t stop charging after a cancellation attempt.4Federal Trade Commission. How to Stop Subscriptions You Never Ordered Follow up any phone dispute with a written letter to the issuer’s billing-dispute address.

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, unauthorized charges are billing errors, and your card issuer must investigate and respond within two billing cycles after receiving your written dispute.5Office of the Law Revision Counsel. United States Code Title 15 Section 1666 The Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act separately requires online subscription sellers to provide simple ways to stop recurring charges, and violations are treated as unfair or deceptive practices under federal law.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. Save everything: the cancellation screenshot, MDhair’s confirmation email, and any charges that hit after that date. That documentation is what carries a chargeback and protects you if the dispute goes further.
