Go to myiq.com/cancellation and sign in. The portal will walk you through confirming the cancellation, and you may see retention offers along the way. Click past them to the final confirmation screen.1myIQ. Canceling Your Subscription
Screenshot that confirmation, or save the confirmation email. You keep access to MyIQ until the end of your current billing period.1myIQ. Canceling Your Subscription If a charge shows up after that date, the screenshot is your evidence.
Cancel by Email
If you can’t log in or the portal isn’t working, email help@myiq.com.2myIQ. Contact myIQ Support Send it from the address tied to your account, state clearly that you’re canceling, and keep both your message and any reply. Email gives you a written record if a billing dispute comes up later.
Cancel Through Apple or Google
If you signed up through an app store, canceling on MyIQ’s website won’t stop the billing. Apple and Google handle those payments separately, so the cancellation has to happen where the payment is processed.
iPhone or iPad
Open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Find MyIQ, tap it, then tap Cancel Subscription. If there’s no cancel button or you see an expiration notice in red, the subscription is already canceled.3Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Android
Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Tap MyIQ and tap Cancel subscription. Timing and the Trial Window
MyIQ starts with a 7-day trial at $1.00 that converts automatically to $29.99 per month once the trial ends. The renewal runs from your original signup date, not the calendar month, and you won’t get a separate reminder.5myIQ. Does My Subscription Automatically Renew?
MyIQ’s terms say there are no refunds for partial or unused subscription periods once a renewal has been billed.5myIQ. Does My Subscription Automatically Renew? Cancel before day seven if you only wanted to try it, and cancel before your next renewal date if you want to avoid another monthly charge.
If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel
You can order your bank to block a preauthorized recurring payment. Under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, you notify the bank at least three business days before the next scheduled charge, by phone or in writing; if you call, the bank may ask for written confirmation within 14 days.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers
Once you’ve given that instruction, the bank has to block all future debits from MyIQ. It cannot wait on MyIQ to stop them on its end.7Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers, Official Interpretations Use this as a backup after you’ve canceled with MyIQ directly. A stop payment doesn’t formally close your account, and the company may still treat the balance as unpaid.
Disputing a Charge After Cancellation
If MyIQ bills you after you canceled, the process depends on how you paid. For a credit card, write to your card issuer at their billing inquiry address within 60 days of the statement that shows the charge. Include your name, account number, a description of the problem, and a copy of your cancellation confirmation. The issuer has to acknowledge the dispute within 30 days and resolve it within 90 days, and you don’t have to pay the disputed amount while it’s open.8Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges
Debit card disputes are less standardized. Contact your bank as soon as the charge appears. Some banks offer protections similar to credit cards voluntarily, but they aren’t required to under the same rules. Either way, your cancellation confirmation is the piece of evidence that decides the outcome.
Will Canceling Hurt Your Credit
No. Credit monitoring uses soft inquiries, which don’t affect your score. Canceling MyIQ stops the monitoring service; your credit reports, scores, and history stay where they are.
