To cancel a Napster subscription, use the same place you signed up: cancel on napster.com if Napster charges you directly, in your iPhone or iPad Settings if you subscribed through the App Store, or in Google Play if you subscribed on Android. Napster’s own account page cannot stop charges that Apple or Google is processing, so the billing channel decides the steps.
Find Out Who Is Charging You
Check your bank or credit card statement for the recurring charge. If the line item reads “Napster,” you subscribed directly through the website. If it reads “Apple” or “Google,” you signed up through an app store and have to cancel there. Napster’s Pro plan runs $19 per month and its Studio plan $45 per month, with an annual option that saves about 17%, so one of those amounts on your statement is what you’re looking for.1Napster. Simple, Transparent Pricing
Have your login ready before you start. If you don’t remember the password, reset it first. People who try to sort out account access mid-cancellation often miss the renewal date and get charged for another month.
Cancel on the Napster Website
If Napster bills you directly, log in at napster.com and:
- Open your Account page.
- Click Manage Subscription.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
Access continues through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. Annual subscribers follow the same steps but do not get a refund for the unused portion of the year; the plan simply runs out its term and does not renew.2Napster Help. Can I Upgrade or Cancel My Subscription
Cancel Through Apple on iPhone or iPad

- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Napster.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
You keep access until the current period ends.3Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple If Napster is not in the list, the subscription has already expired or was never billed through Apple in the first place.
Cancel Through Google Play on Android

- Open your subscriptions in Google Play, either from the Play Store app or through your device Settings under Google.
- Select Napster.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the prompts to confirm.
Access runs through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
What You Keep and What You Don’t Get Back
Cancellation stops the next charge; it does not cut off streaming right away. You retain full access to the library until the last day of the billing period you already paid for, and offline playback stops after that date.2Napster Help. Can I Upgrade or Cancel My Subscription
Napster does not prorate refunds. Cancel three days into a monthly cycle and you have the rest of the month, not 27 days of money back.2Napster Help. Can I Upgrade or Cancel My Subscription The same applies to annual plans, where the unused balance can be much larger.
If you think you were charged after canceling, submit a request at help.napster.com and, if that goes nowhere, dispute the charge with your bank. For App Store or Google Play subscriptions, request the refund through Apple or Google, since they processed the payment.
Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Account
Once you cancel, your account still exists. Your profile and preferences stay in place, so resubscribing later picks up where you left off. If you want your personal data removed as well, email dataprivacy@napster.com to request account deletion.5Napster. If the Cancellation Won’t Go Through
Napster does not publish a phone number or live chat. The support route is a web form at help.napster.com: pick your issue, enter the email tied to the account, and describe the problem.6Napster Help. Submit a Request Response times vary. If a renewal is close, cancel through your app store or contact your bank in parallel so you are not waiting on a reply while another charge posts.
