To cancel a No Carbs Challenge subscription, you have to cancel in the same place you signed up: through Apple if you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, through Google Play if you subscribed on Android, or through the No Carbs Challenge website or support email if you signed up directly online. Canceling in the wrong place won’t stop the charges, so the first move is figuring out who is actually billing you.
Find Out Who’s Charging You
Pull up your bank or credit card statement and look at how the charge is labeled. If it comes from Apple, cancel through Apple. If it comes from Google, cancel through Google Play. If it comes directly from No Carbs Challenge (it may also show up as “My Challenge”), cancel through the website or by email.
If you’re not sure, check both your app store subscriptions list and your account on the No Carbs Challenge site. Emailing the company will not stop an Apple or Google charge, and canceling on the website will not stop an app store charge.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find “My Challenge” or “No Carbs Challenge” and tap it. Tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom. If there’s no cancel button and you see an expiration date in red, the subscription is already canceled.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Apple requires you to cancel at least 24 hours before the billing period renews. Miss that window and you’ll be charged for another cycle before cancellation takes effect. You keep access to the content through the end of the period you already paid for.2Apple. Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions – Section: Subscriptions
Cancel on Android
Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select the No Carbs Challenge or My Challenge entry and tap Cancel subscription. Follow the prompts to confirm.3Google Play Support. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
As with Apple, your access continues through the end of the current billing period. The subscription simply won’t renew.
Cancel Through the Website or by Email
If you signed up on nocarbschallenge.com rather than through an app store, log into your account and open your subscription or profile settings. Look for a cancel or unsubscribe option inside your billing or plan details, and follow it all the way through to a confirmation screen. Leaving the page before that final confirmation can leave the subscription active.
If you can’t find the option in your account, email hello@nocarbschallenge.com with your full name, the email address you used to sign up, and the order ID from your original confirmation email. Ask specifically for written confirmation that the subscription has been canceled and no further charges will occur.
Federal law is on your side here. The Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act requires online sellers to disclose billing terms clearly before charging you and to give you a simple way to stop recurring charges.4Congress.gov. Public Law 111-345 – Restore Online Shoppers Confidence Act A company that makes cancellation unreasonably hard can be reported to the FTC.
If You Can’t Log In
Being locked out doesn’t mean you’re stuck paying. Make sure you’re tapping “Log in” rather than “Register,” check that you’re using the same email you signed up with, and use “Forgot your password?” on the login screen. Look in your spam folder for the reset email.5My Challenge Help Center. I Can’t Log In
If that doesn’t work, email hello@mychallenge.diet and explain that you need to cancel but cannot access your account. And if the charge is going through Apple or Google, you can cancel through those platforms whether or not you can log into the app itself. The app store subscription controls are independent of the app’s own login.
Confirm the Cancellation
Look for a confirmation email from the app store or from No Carbs Challenge. On iPhone, go back to Settings, your name, Subscriptions, and check that the entry now shows an expiration date instead of a renewal date. On Google Play, the subscription should show as “Canceled” in your list.
You keep access to meal plans and workouts through the end of the current billing period. Watch your bank statement through the next billing cycle. Any charge that posts after your confirmed cancellation date is a billing error you can dispute.
Getting a Refund
Refunds are harder than cancellation. The company’s terms state that once you pay for digital content and begin using it, you waive your right of withdrawal, meaning the company treats its obligations as fulfilled the moment you get access.6NoCarbsChallenge.com. General Terms and Conditions
Company terms don’t override consumer protection law, though. If you were charged without proper disclosure, a free trial converted without clear notice, or billing continued after you canceled, you have grounds to push back. Start with the company. If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, request a refund through those platforms too; they run their own review processes and sometimes approve refunds the developer would deny.
Dispute the Charge if It Keeps Coming
If charges keep appearing after you cancel, the Fair Credit Billing Act lets you dispute them with your card issuer. You have 60 days from the date the first bill containing the error was sent to submit a written dispute.7Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors
Send the letter to the billing inquiries address on your statement, not the payment address. Include your name, account number, the charge amount, and why the charge is wrong. Certified mail with a return receipt gives you proof of delivery. While the issuer investigates, you can withhold payment on the disputed amount, and federal law caps your liability for unauthorized charges at $50.8Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges
The issuer must acknowledge your dispute within 30 days and resolve it within 90 days. During the investigation, they cannot report you as delinquent or threaten your credit rating over the disputed amount. Keep your cancellation confirmation and any emails with No Carbs Challenge as evidence.
