How to Cancel Your OnlyFans Account or Subscription

To cancel OnlyFans, you have two separate options depending on what you actually want to stop. To end a recurring charge for one creator, open that creator’s profile and turn off auto-renew. To remove your entire profile, go to Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. These are not the same action, and confusing them is the most common mistake.

Stop Paying One Creator

OnlyFans bills you monthly for each creator you subscribe to, and each subscription auto-renews on its own cycle. Go to the creator’s profile, find the “Subscribed” indicator, tap it, and choose the option to disable auto-renew. Confirm, and no further payments will be taken for that creator.

You keep access to that creator’s content through the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that, access ends unless you resubscribe.1OnlyFans. Terms of Use No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of the cycle. If you subscribe to several creators and want to stop everything, disable auto-renew on each one or remove your payment method from the account.

Nothing about this touches your login, your message history, or your other subscriptions. Your account stays open.

Delete Your Account as a Fan

Log in through a web browser. Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner and open Settings. In the Account section, scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account. Complete the CAPTCHA to prove you’re not a bot, then confirm.

OnlyFans will delete the account within a reasonable time and will not charge any further subscription fees. You immediately lose access to everything tied to that login: purchased content, message history, and any active subscriptions.1OnlyFans. Terms of Use Support cannot bring a deleted account back. Download anything you want to keep before you confirm.

Delete Your Account as a Creator

The path is the same: Settings, Account, Delete Account. The timeline is not. Your account stays open until every active fan subscription expires. OnlyFans then pays out any remaining earnings and deletes the account afterward.1OnlyFans. Terms of Use

Deletion does not automatically remove co-authored content posted by another creator. Collaborations featuring your shared material stay live on the other creator’s profile unless you arrange removal directly or through support.1OnlyFans. Terms of Use

Before you start, withdraw available earnings to your linked bank account and download your earnings history. You will not be able to log back in to pull tax records later. OnlyFans reports payouts to the IRS based on when funds hit your bank, so keep your own copies for filing.

Deactivate Instead if You’re Not Sure

Deactivation hides your profile from public view while preserving your data, content, subscriber relationships, and earnings history behind the scenes. Fans with active subscriptions keep access through the period they paid for. Log back in whenever you want, and the account reactivates.

Deletion cannot be undone. Deactivation can. For creators weighing a break against a permanent exit, deactivating first keeps the option open without abandoning the audience you’ve built.

What OnlyFans Keeps After Deletion

Deletion removes your profile and content from the platform, but not every trace on OnlyFans’s servers goes at once. The privacy policy says personal data is retained on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances rather than for a single fixed period.2OnlyFans. OnlyFans Privacy Policy

Financial and identity records tied to regulatory obligations can be kept for up to seven years to satisfy tax reporting and anti-money laundering requirements.2OnlyFans. OnlyFans Privacy Policy Data may also be retained longer to assist law enforcement investigations, defend against legal claims, or comply with valid legal requests such as preservation orders. Public access to your content and messages ends, but some records persist internally for compliance.

Get Your Data Before You Delete

You can request a copy of the personal data OnlyFans holds about you. Submit a support ticket through your account, or email privacy@onlyfans.com.2OnlyFans. OnlyFans Privacy Policy Include enough identifying information for the platform to confirm you’re the account holder; expect it to ask for additional verification.

Do this while the account is still active. Requesting data after deletion is significantly harder and can require identity proof beyond what’s needed while you’re logged in. Creators should treat this as a step to complete before hitting delete, since earnings and tax records disappear from your dashboard the moment the account goes.
