To cancel an OnlyFans subscription, log in, open your Following list, and switch off Auto-Renew on each creator you no longer want to pay for. Each paid creator is billed separately, so there is no single button that ends everything at once. You keep access to that creator’s content until the paid period runs out, and no new charge hits your card after that.
Canceling on Desktop
The toggle lives on your Following list, not in a central billing menu. From onlyfans.com:
- Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner and choose Following from the left sidebar. Paid subscriptions show a price next to the creator’s name.
- Find the creator and click the Auto-Renew toggle beside their name.
- Confirm on the pop-up. A short survey may ask why you’re canceling; pick any reason to complete the step.
Once confirmed, the status updates and no future renewal charge will process for that creator.1OnlyFans. Terms of Service Repeat for any other paid creators on your list.
Canceling on a Phone or Tablet
OnlyFans has no official app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, so everything happens in your mobile browser. Tap your profile icon, tap Following, find the creator, and toggle off Auto-Renew.
If the toggle isn’t visible, rotate the phone to landscape or switch the browser to “desktop site” mode from its menu. Either usually surfaces controls that get hidden below the fold in portrait view.
What Happens to Your Access After Canceling
Turning off Auto-Renew does not cut you off right away. You keep full access to the creator’s content until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and the account dashboard shows the exact expiration date for each subscription.1OnlyFans. Terms of Service When that date passes, access ends unless you start a new subscription.
Pay-per-view posts and unlocked paid messages are separate one-time purchases, so anything you already bought that way stays accessible after the subscription itself expires.
Getting a Refund Is Unlikely
OnlyFans takes a hard line on refunds. The Terms of Service warn users against making unjustified refund or chargeback requests and state that doing so in bad faith can lead to account suspension or deletion. Wallet credits are explicitly non-refundable, and prepaid subscription payments are forfeited if an account is terminated for a terms violation.1OnlyFans. Terms of Service
Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date, or being disappointed with a creator’s content, is not a basis for a refund. Access begins the moment payment processes, and the platform treats the subscription as delivered.
When a Billing Dispute Is Actually Available
The Electronic Fund Transfer Act is sometimes cited as a way to claw back subscription charges, but it does not reach this situation. The EFTA covers unauthorized transfers, incorrect amounts, missing transactions on statements, and similar bank-side errors.2Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.11 – Procedures for Resolving Errors A subscription you signed up for and forgot to cancel is not one of those errors.
If you paid with a credit card and there is a genuine billing error, such as a duplicate charge, the wrong amount, or a charge you did not authorize, the Fair Credit Billing Act lets you send a written dispute to your card issuer within 60 days of the statement date. The issuer must acknowledge the dispute within 30 days and resolve it within two billing cycles.3Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors
Chargebacks Can Cost You the Account
Going straight to your bank for a chargeback instead of contacting OnlyFans can backfire. The platform’s terms require users to attempt mediation before bringing any claim.1OnlyFans. Terms of Service If OnlyFans decides the chargeback was unjustified, it can suspend or permanently delete the account, which means losing access to every remaining subscription and any content already purchased. Save chargebacks for genuine fraud.
Deleting Your Account Entirely
Canceling subscriptions stops future charges but leaves your profile in place. If you want the profile gone, deletion is a separate step, and OnlyFans does not offer a temporary deactivation option the way some other platforms do. Deletion is permanent.
Open Settings, go to the Account section, scroll to Delete Account, complete the CAPTCHA, and confirm. OnlyFans then sends a confirmation email.
Before you delete, handle a few things:
- Request a payout of any wallet balance, since wallet credits are non-refundable under the Terms of Service.1OnlyFans. Terms of Service
- Cancel active subscriptions first. Accounts with live subscriptions may see deletion delayed until those billing cycles finish.
- Save anything you want to keep. Your profile, uploaded content, and subscription history all disappear once deletion completes.
The account enters a disabled state first, then is permanently removed after a waiting period. Even then, OnlyFans keeps certain records, such as tax-related data, to meet legal obligations, so “deleted” means your profile and content are gone from the platform, not that every trace of your activity is erased from their servers.
