To cancel Paramount Plus, go to whichever service is charging you. If you signed up at paramountplus.com, you cancel on the website. If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, or a bundle like Walmart+ or T-Mobile, you cancel through that platform instead. Paramount Plus cannot end a subscription that another company is billing for.
Find Out Who Is Billing You
Check your credit card or bank statement first. A charge from “Paramount+” means you subscribed directly. A charge from “Apple.com/bill,” “Google,” “Amazon,” or “Roku” means that platform manages the subscription, and that is where you have to cancel. If Paramount Plus came with a wireless plan or a Walmart+ membership, the carrier or Walmart is billing you.
You can also confirm this inside your Paramount Plus account. Log in on the web or in the app and open the account or subscription section. If it says something like “Your subscription is managed by Apple,” that is your answer. Have the login for that platform ready before you start.
Cancel on the Paramount Plus Website
If you signed up directly, log into paramountplus.com in a browser, open your account settings, and click “Cancel Subscription.” Follow the prompts to confirm. Expect retention offers and downgrade pitches along the way; you can skip past them.
Once the cancellation goes through, you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Monthly subscribers at $8.99 or $13.99 keep watching until the next payment date would have hit. Annual subscribers who cancel early keep access through the rest of the paid year. Paramount Plus does not issue prorated refunds for unused time on either plan.1Paramount+ Help Center. Free trials work differently. Canceling during a trial ends access at the close of the trial window, meaning you lose any remaining trial days the moment you cancel.2Paramount+. How Do I Cancel My Subscription?
Cancel Through Apple
If you subscribed on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, Apple is the biller and Paramount Plus cannot cancel it for you. On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Find Paramount Plus, tap it, then tap “Cancel Subscription.” Scroll down if you don’t see the button. A red expiration message means the subscription is already canceled.3Apple. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then click Account Settings. Scroll to Subscriptions, click Manage, select Paramount Plus, and click “Cancel Subscription.”3Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Cancel Through Google Play
Android subscribers cancel through Google Play. Open Settings on your device, tap Google, tap your name, and select “Manage your Google Account.” Tap “Payments & subscriptions,” then “Manage subscriptions.” Find Paramount Plus and tap “Cancel subscription.”4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Trying to cancel inside the Paramount Plus app on Android usually just bounces you back to Google Play. Going through device settings is the reliable path. Access continues to the end of the billing period.
Cancel Through Amazon Prime Video Channels
If you added Paramount Plus as a Prime Video channel, Amazon handles the billing. Go to Amazon’s “Manage Your Subscriptions” page, either through Account & Settings in Prime Video or by searching for it on Amazon. Select “Your subscriptions,” find Paramount Plus, click “Unsubscribe,” and confirm.5Amazon. Cancel Your Prime Video Add-On Subscription
After canceling, check that the status changes from “Renews on” to “Expires on.” If it still says “Renews on,” the cancellation didn’t take. Try again or contact Amazon support.
Cancel Through Roku
On a Roku device, use the remote to highlight the Paramount Plus tile on the home screen without opening it. Press the Star button (*), select “Manage subscription,” and follow the prompts.6Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku
You can also log into your account at roku.com in a browser and cancel from the subscriptions page.
Cancel a Bundled Subscription
Bundled subscriptions have to be canceled through the bundle provider, not Paramount Plus.
Walmart+ members who activated Paramount Plus as a membership benefit manage it in their Walmart+ account settings under “Manage your plan” for streaming services. If you upgraded to a higher Paramount Plus tier through Walmart and downgrade back to the ad-supported version, Walmart does not refund the remaining upgraded time, but you won’t be charged at the next renewal. Switching to a different streaming benefit ends Paramount Plus access immediately and produces a prorated refund for the canceled portion.7Walmart. Walmart+ Streaming Benefits
T-Mobile customers with Paramount Plus as an add-on manage it through their T-Mobile account. On T-Mobile.com or the T-Life app, go to View Account, then Shared Add-ons, then Manage add-ons. One trap worth knowing: if you had a standalone Paramount Plus subscription before activating one through T-Mobile, the two are independent accounts and the original one keeps billing until you cancel it separately.8T-Mobile. Refunds and Access After Cancellation
Paramount Plus does not refund unused subscription time. Monthly or annual, you keep watching to the end of your current period and that is the end of it. No partial credit.1Paramount+ Help Center. What’s the Refund Policy for Paramount+?
The refund policy notes that “certain circumstances” may legally entitle you to a refund, pointing to the Terms of Use. In practice these are situations like being charged after a confirmed cancellation or a billing error. When Paramount Plus does issue a refund, access ends immediately instead of continuing through the billing period.1Paramount+ Help Center. What’s the Refund Policy for Paramount+?
Refunds on subscriptions you bought through Apple, Google, Amazon, or Roku are handled by those platforms under their own policies. Contact that platform’s support team, not Paramount Plus.
If a Company Makes It Hard to Cancel
The FTC finalized its Click-to-Cancel rule in October 2024. It requires businesses with recurring subscriptions to make canceling at least as easy as signing up. If you subscribed online, the company has to let you cancel online, without forcing a phone call or a live-agent chat.9Federal Trade Commission.
