To cancel Paramount Plus, go to the platform that bills you and turn off the subscription there. If you signed up on the Paramount Plus website, cancel there. If you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, or a cable provider, that company handles the billing and is the only one that can stop it. Paramount Plus cannot cancel a subscription running through another company’s system.
Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You
Check your bank or credit card statement for the merchant name on the recurring charge. “Paramount+” or “Paramount Plus” means you subscribed directly. “Apple,” “Google,” “Amazon,” or a cable company name means that platform is the one charging you, and that’s where cancellation has to happen. You can also open the Paramount Plus app or website, head to your account settings, and look under the subscription section to confirm where billing lives.
Cancel on the Paramount Plus Website
Log in at paramountplus.com and click your initials in the top corner. Select “Account” from the dropdown, scroll to “Subscription & Billing,” and click “Cancel Subscription.”
You won’t be done in one click. Paramount Plus walks you through several screens, often including a retention offer such as a discounted rate or a couple of free months. Decline by clicking “No Thanks” or “Continue to Cancel” until you reach the confirmation screen. Cancel Through Apple (iPhone, iPad, or Mac)
Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap “Subscriptions.” Find Paramount Plus in the list, tap it, and select the cancel option.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple
If you’re on a free trial through Apple, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged for the first full billing cycle.2Apple Support. Cancel Through Google Play (Android)
Open the Google Play Store app, go to Payments & Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Paramount Plus, tap “Cancel subscription,” and follow the confirmation steps.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
One warning: uninstalling the Paramount Plus app does not cancel your subscription. Google Play keeps billing until you cancel through the subscription manager. This is the single most common reason people get charged after they thought they were done.
Cancel Through Amazon, Roku, or a Cable Provider
Each platform has its own path, and only that path will stop the charges.
- Amazon. Go to “Your Memberships and Subscriptions” on the Amazon website, find Paramount Plus, and toggle “Auto-Renew” off before the next renewal date.4Amazon. Manage Your Amazon Subscriptions
- Roku. On the device, press Home, highlight the Paramount Plus app, press the Star button, and select “Manage subscription,” then “Turn off auto-renew.” Online, use my.roku.com/subscriptions.5Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku
- Cable or TV providers (such as Xfinity). If Paramount Plus was added to your cable package, cancel through that provider’s account tools or support line. Paramount Plus cannot change a subscription managed by your cable company.

What Happens After You Cancel
Access doesn’t shut off right away. You keep watching until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. Pay for a month on June 3rd and cancel on June 15th, and you still have access through July 3rd.1Paramount Skydance. Cancel a free trial and you keep access until the trial period ends, but you won’t be charged when it expires.1Paramount Skydance. Paramount Plus Terms of Use Canceling a trial early costs you nothing.
After you submit the cancellation, look for a confirmation email and save it. Then check your account settings to confirm the status shows “canceled” or “ending soon.” If it still shows active, something didn’t go through, and you want to contact support before the next billing date.
Refunds and Charges That Keep Coming
Paramount Plus does not offer refunds as a standard policy. The terms of use state that fees already paid are not refunded on cancellation, and there are no prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing cycle.1Paramount Skydance. Still seeing charges after you canceled? First confirm you canceled through the right platform. An active Apple or Google Play subscription won’t stop because you canceled on the Paramount Plus website. If the charge really is unauthorized, dispute it with your bank or credit card company.
