How to Cancel Your PLAUD Subscription on iPhone, Android, or Web

To cancel a PLAUD subscription, you have to cancel it in the same place you signed up: through the Apple App Store if you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, through Google Play if you subscribed on Android, or through your PLAUD.ai account or Stripe if you paid PLAUD directly on the web. Canceling in the wrong place is the most common reason people keep getting charged after they thought they were done.

Check Where You’re Being Billed

Before you tap anything, find out which company is actually charging your card. Look at your bank or credit card statement. Apple purchases appear as “APPLE.COM/BILL.” Google Play charges show up as “GOOGLE*PLAUD” or similar. Direct website purchases typically list “PLAUD” or “Stripe” as the merchant.

You can also open the PLAUD app, go to your profile or account settings, and check your current plan details. If billing runs through Apple or Google, the app will point you back to those platforms.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

If you subscribed on iOS, Apple handles the billing and Apple is the only place cancellation works.

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name at the top of the screen.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Find and tap the PLAUD AI entry.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Access continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and Apple will not charge you again after that date.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple If PLAUD is not listed under Subscriptions, you did not subscribe through Apple, and you need one of the paths below.

Cancel on Android

Android users cancel through Google Play, not through the PLAUD app itself.

  • Open the Google Play Store app.
  • Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
  • Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  • Select the PLAUD subscription.
  • Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Your paid features stay active until the current billing period ends.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play Google also offers a pause option on some subscriptions if you only want a break.

Cancel a Web Subscription

If you paid PLAUD directly through the website, cancellation happens outside any app store, and there are two versions depending on how the payment was processed.

Bought From PLAUD.ai

Log in to your account at plaud.ai, go to My Account, then Manage Subscription, and click Cancel Subscription. That stops auto-renewal, and no further charges apply after the current period.3Plaud. How Can I Cancel My Membership Plan if I Purchased It on the Official Website

Billed Through Stripe

Some web subscriptions are billed via Stripe. Visit the Stripe billing portal, sign in with the email address you used at purchase, complete the verification step, then open My Subscriptions or Billing and select Cancel Subscription.4Plaud. What Happens After You Cancel

Canceling stops auto-renewal but does not end your access the same day. Your plan stays active through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again after that date.5Plaud. Cancel Your Subscriptions and Refunds Cancel three months into an annual Pro plan and you still have nine months of Pro features left.

Once that paid period runs out, your account drops to the free Starter plan, which every activated PLAUD account keeps and which includes 300 transcription minutes per month.6Plaud. Comparison If you own a PLAUD Note or NotePin, the hardware still records audio regardless of subscription status. You can export those recordings and transcribe them elsewhere if Starter is not enough.

If the cost is your only reason for canceling, downgrading to Starter through your account settings may serve you better than a full cancellation, since basic transcription stays available.

Refunds Are a Separate Request

Canceling does not refund you for the current period. PLAUD offers a full refund only if you request it within 30 days of purchase and the service has not been used or activated. Once you have used any transcription minutes or AI features, refunds are off the table.7Plaud.ai. Return and Refund Policy

For eligible refunds on purchases made through the PLAUD website, Google Play, or Stripe, email support@plaud.ai with your order number and registered email address. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.7Plaud.ai. Return and Refund Policy

Apple App Store purchases are different. PLAUD cannot process those refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, choose “Request a refund,” select the reason, and pick the PLAUD subscription from your purchase history.8Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple Apple reviews each request individually, and approval is not guaranteed. On Google Play, if fewer than 48 hours have passed since the charge, request the refund through play.google.com under your order history.
