How to Cancel Your Pokémon TCG Pocket Subscription

To cancel your Pokémon TCG Pocket subscription, go to the subscription settings of the account that paid for it — your Apple Account on an iPhone or iPad, or your Google Account on Android — and cancel the Premium Pass there. The game itself has no working cancel button, so the only place the cancellation actually registers is the app store that processed your purchase. Do it at least 24 hours before your next renewal date, or you’ll be billed for another cycle.

Deleting the App Will Not Stop the Charges

This trips up more people than anything else. Uninstalling Pokémon TCG Pocket from your phone has no effect on the recurring payment tied to your Apple or Google account. The billing continues every month until you explicitly cancel through the store. If you’ve already deleted the app, you don’t need to reinstall it to cancel — the steps below work entirely through your account settings.

Canceling on iPhone or iPad

Open the Settings app and tap your name at the top. Tap Subscriptions to see everything billing through your Apple Account. Find the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket entry, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to see the cancel option.1Apple Support. Once confirmed, the screen will show an expiration date instead of a renewal date. If you already see an expiration message in red text, the subscription was canceled previously and won’t renew.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Canceling on Android

Open the Google Play Store and tap your profile icon in the upper right. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket entry, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

You can also reach the same screen from your device Settings: tap Google, then your name, then Manage your Google Account, then Payments & subscriptions.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Canceling Without the Original Device

If you no longer have the phone you subscribed on, both platforms let you cancel through a web browser. For Apple, sign in at account.apple.com and manage your subscriptions there.1Apple Support. This matters most if you’ve switched platforms. If you originally subscribed on an iPhone but now use Android, tapping an in-game cancellation link may send you to Google Play’s subscription screen, where no subscription exists. The billing is still sitting on your Apple Account, so you need to sign in through a browser or your old device to cancel it there.3Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. If I Change My Device, Can I Transfer My Premium Pass Subscription and Items I Have Acquired The same logic applies if you have more than one Apple or Google account on the same device: cancel from the account that actually holds the subscription, or you’ll see nothing to cancel while the charges keep going.

Canceling During the 14-Day Free Trial

The Premium Pass includes a mandatory 14-day no-cost trial the first time you subscribe. When the trial ends, you’re automatically charged for a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expires.4Pokémon Support. Pokémon TCG Pocket Purchase and Premium Pass FAQ

The steps are the same as for a paid subscription — use the Apple or Google process above. If you cancel inside the trial window, you keep premium access through the remaining trial days.

What You Keep and What You Lose After Canceling

Canceling doesn’t cut you off right away. You keep full premium access through the end of your current billing period, and no refunds or credits are issued for the remaining time.5Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. Getting a Refund if You Were Already Charged

If you were billed after thinking you’d canceled, or you see a charge you didn’t authorize, both stores have refund processes.

For Apple, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, select Request a refund, choose a reason, and pick the specific charge. A response typically comes within 48 hours. If the charge is still pending, Apple requires you to wait for the email receipt before submitting.6Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple

For Google, report unauthorized charges through Google Play support within 120 days of the transaction. Google notes that refunds are unlikely if you shared your account details with someone else or didn’t protect the account with authentication.7Google Play Help. Neither store guarantees a refund. Approval depends on the circumstances of the charge.
