Export Your Leads Before You Do Anything Else
Once your subscription ends, you lose access to Vortex and everything stored in it. Export first, cancel second.
Inside Vortex, select the leads you want to keep. You can click the checkbox in the top-left corner to grab every lead in your current folder or filter. The export takes two minutes. Rebuilding a lead pipeline from scratch takes weeks. This is the step people regret skipping.
Gather Your Account Information
Before you reach out, pull up the email address on your account and your Account ID, which appears on your monthly invoice and in your account settings inside Vortex. Note your current billing cycle date too, since cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid term rather than immediately.

Cancel by Phone
Call REDX at (800) 731-7339, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 8 PM Eastern (6 AM to 5 PM Pacific).3REDX. Contact REDX US and Canada At the automated menu, pick the option for billing or account management so you reach someone who can process a cancellation rather than a general tech agent. Give them your Account ID and the email on file, then clearly state that you want to cancel and stop all future renewals.
Expect a retention offer. If your mind is made up, stay on point and ask for a cancellation confirmation number before you hang up. Write it down the moment you get it.
Cancel by Email

“I am canceling my REDX subscription effective at the end of my current billing period. My Account ID is [number]. Please confirm this cancellation in writing.”
Email creates an automatic timestamp you can point to later if a billing dispute comes up. Even if you cancel by phone, a follow-up email referencing your confirmation number gives you a second layer of documentation.
What Happens After You Cancel

Terms of Subscriptions If you paid for three months and cancel one month in, you keep two months of service. REDX does not issue prorated refunds for unused time under its published terms, so timing your cancellation close to the end of a billing cycle gets you the most value.
Save the confirmation number along with any email replies showing the effective date. Then watch your bank or credit card statements for at least two billing cycles. One charge processing right after cancellation can be a timing issue if your request landed close to a billing cutoff; anything beyond that needs immediate follow-up.
If You’re Charged After Canceling

If REDX doesn’t resolve it, you have a fallback. Reactivation and the Lack of a Pause Option
If you cancel and later want to come back, reactivation is possible but may cost you. REDX’s terms say subscribers restoring a terminated account are “responsible for necessary reactivation fees,” though the company doesn’t publish a specific dollar figure.6REDX. REDX does not offer a formal pause or seasonal hold in its terms. If you’re canceling to take a break during a slow stretch, your real options are canceling outright and reactivating later, or prepaying for a shorter term to keep costs down during the gap.
