To cancel your SodaStream subscription, log in at sodastream.com, open the “Manage Subscription” dropdown on your subscription page, and select the cancellation option, or call Customer Care at 1-800-763-2258. There’s no early termination fee and no minimum commitment. The catch sits on the other side of the cancellation: you still have to send back any empty cylinders, or SodaStream will charge $15 plus tax per cylinder to the card on file.1SodaStream Home. Cancel by Phone
Call SodaStream Customer Care at 1-800-763-2258, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern. A representative can cancel the subscription for you and can also stop or change an order that hasn’t shipped yet. SodaStream says requests placed within an hour of purchase are usually caught before the order leaves the warehouse.4SodaStream Support. Can I cancel my order?
Watch the Timing of Your Next Shipment
Cancellation applies to the next cycle onward. If a delivery has already been packed and shipped, it will still arrive and can’t be stopped in transit. If you want to avoid one more charge, cancel before the next order processes.1SodaStream Home. How can I cancel my subscription?
You should get a confirmation email once the cancellation goes through. Keep it. That email dates your cancellation, which matters if a question later comes up about return deadlines or charges. Check your bank or card statements for at least one full billing cycle afterward to make sure nothing else posts.
Return Your Empty Cylinders
Canceling does not end your cylinder return obligation. SodaStream’s terms give you your shipment frequency plus 30 days from the cancellation date to send empties back. On a two-month delivery cycle, that’s roughly 90 days. Miss the window and you’re charged $15 plus tax per unreturned cylinder, and the same fee applies to damaged or tampered cylinders.2SodaStream. Every subscription order ships with a prepaid USPS return label. Put the caps back on the empties, place them in the box your last shipment arrived in, stick on the label, and either drop it in a mailbox, take it to a post office, or schedule a free USPS pickup if that’s offered in your area. Write down the tracking number before you hand it off; that’s your proof the cylinders are moving. Lost the label? Log into My Account, open the order in your history, and click “Print Return Label” to download a new one.5SodaStream Home. What is the CO2 Subscription and how does it work?6SodaStream. Returned cylinders need to be in substantially the same condition as when they arrived, with the original tamper-proof seal intact. SodaStream reserves the right to treat damaged or tampered cylinders as unreturned and charge the $15 fee for those too.2SodaStream. Legal Terms
If You Just Have Too Many Cylinders, You Don’t Have to Cancel
If the real problem is that cylinders are piling up, the same “Manage Subscription” dropdown lets you skip or reschedule the next shipment up to six months out, change the quantity to anywhere from one to four cylinders per order, and set the delivery frequency anywhere from every month to every six months. Any change needs to be made before the next order is packed; otherwise it applies to the cycle after that.7SodaStream Home. Can I make changes to my Subscription?8SodaStream.
