To cancel your Toggle VPN subscription, you have to cancel through whichever platform is actually billing you. If you signed up on toggle.org, you cancel in your account dashboard. If you subscribed on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device, Apple or Google is the biller and handles the cancellation. If you paid through PayPal, you revoke the automatic payment there. Canceling in the wrong place leaves the recurring charge active, so the first step is figuring out where the money is going.
Check Who Is Actually Charging You
Pull up your bank or credit card statement and read the merchant name on the recurring charge. A charge from Toggle VPN or toggle.org means you subscribed directly through the website. “Apple.com/bill” means the App Store is billing you. “Google*Toggle” or “GOOGLE*Play” points to Google Play. If the payment routes through PayPal, that’s where the automatic payment lives. The merchant name decides which set of steps below applies to you.
Cancel on the Toggle VPN Website
Log into your account at toggle.org and open the subscription or billing section of your dashboard. Select the option to manage your plan, then click Cancel Subscription. Work through the confirmation screens and any retention offers until you reach the final confirmation.
You should see an on-screen confirmation and get a confirmation email. Save it. If a charge shows up after you’ve canceled, that email is your proof. You can reach Toggle VPN’s support team at support@toggle.org if the flow doesn’t complete.1Toggle VPN. Refund Policy
Cancel Through the Apple App Store
If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, Apple is the biller and you cancel through iOS settings:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Toggle VPN in the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. If there’s no Cancel button or you see a red expiration message, it’s already canceled.
Once canceled, Apple won’t authorize future charges for that subscription, and your access continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple
Cancel Through Google Play
On Android, the Play Store handles the billing. Deleting the Toggle VPN app does not cancel the subscription, and charges continue until you cancel through Google Play directly.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select Toggle VPN.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
Google stops future charges once the cancellation is confirmed, and access runs to the end of the current billing cycle.
Cancel Through PayPal
If your Toggle VPN subscription is linked to PayPal, revoke the automatic billing agreement in your PayPal account. On the website, go to Settings, click Payments, select “Subscriptions and saved businesses” (or “Automatic Payments”), find Toggle VPN, and cancel the automatic payment.
In the PayPal app, tap the menu icon, go to Subscriptions or Linked Businesses, select Toggle VPN, choose “Stop Paying with PayPal,” and confirm by tapping Unlink. That cuts off future billing from the merchant.4PayPal. Automatic Payment – Update Recurring Payments
Refunds and the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Toggle VPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel within 30 days of purchase and aren’t satisfied, you can request a full refund, but the route depends on where you bought the subscription.1Toggle VPN. Refund Policy
- Website purchases: email support@toggle.org and request a refund. Toggle VPN processes these directly.
- Google Play purchases: use the Google Play Help page for refund requests, select the purchase, choose a reason, and submit. Google approves or denies.
- App Store purchases: Toggle VPN cannot issue iOS refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose “Request a refund,” pick a reason, select the Toggle VPN purchase, and submit.5Apple Support. Subscriptions and Billing
App Store and Google Play refunds are decided by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by Toggle VPN. Submitting promptly gives you the best chance of approval.
What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling stops future charges. It does not end your access right away. You keep full use of the VPN through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Pay on the 5th and cancel on the 18th? Service runs until the 5th of the next month.
Go back into your account dashboard afterward and confirm auto-renewal is off. Most platforms show something like “Expires on [date]” in place of a next-renewal date. If you still see an active renewal date, the cancellation didn’t take, and you should try again or contact support.
Hold onto the confirmation email or a screenshot. If a charge posts after your cancellation date, that documentation is what you’ll use to dispute it with your bank or the billing platform. Under the Federal Trade Commission’s Click-to-Cancel rule, subscription sellers must make cancellation at least as easy as signup, so if you hit unnecessary obstacles you may have grounds for an FTC complaint.6Federal Trade Commission.
