To cancel your Trellis free trial, log in, open your Account Overview page, click the “Delete My Account” toggle, confirm, and complete the short exit survey. Do this before day 14 of the trial or Trellis will bill the card on file somewhere between $69.95 and $199.95 per month depending on the tier you picked at signup.1Trellis Research. The Cancellation Steps
Sign in with the email and password you used at signup. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner and open your account or settings area to reach Account Overview. On that page, find the “Delete My Account” toggle.2Trellis Research. How Do I Cancel My Subscription
Click the toggle, then click the “Delete My Account” button that appears. Trellis will ask you to fill out a brief survey about why you’re leaving. Submit it. If you skip the survey or close the browser before finishing, your cancellation may not go through, and the system will charge you when the trial ends.3Trellis Research Knowledge Base. Cancel Before Day 14
The free trial runs 14 days.4Trellis Research Knowledge Base. Cancellation During Free Trial Cancel at any point during that window and you won’t be charged. Trellis doesn’t publish a precise cutoff time, so don’t cut it close. Give yourself at least a day of margin. Your exact expiration date sits on the Account Overview page under your subscription details.
Once the 14 days pass, Trellis charges the payment method on file at the tier you selected. Monthly rates run from $69.95 for the Personal plan up to $199.95 for the Research and Judge Analytics plan, with slightly lower per-month pricing on annual billing.1Trellis Research. What Are the Different Subscription Tiers This is a real subscription charge, not a small trial fee, so put the date on your calendar.
Confirm the Cancellation Went Through
After you submit the survey, watch your inbox for a confirmation email from Trellis. Keep it. If a billing dispute comes up later, that email is your receipt. If nothing arrives within an hour or two, log back in and look at Account Overview. If it still shows an active subscription, the cancellation didn’t process and you’ll need to run through the steps again or contact support.
A few days after your scheduled trial end date, check your bank or card statement. If a charge appears despite your cancellation, the confirmation email is what you’ll give your bank.
Pause Instead of Cancel
If you expect to come back, pausing is cheaper than restarting from scratch. A paused subscription costs $4.99 per month and preserves your search history, saved documents, and alerts, with limited content views during the pause.3Trellis Research Knowledge Base. Pause / Hold / Delete Subscription You pause from the same Account Overview page. Full cancellation deletes the account, so anything you’ve built up — saved searches, judicial alerts — goes with it.
Deleting Your Data Is a Separate Request
Canceling stops billing and ends your access. It does not delete the personal information Trellis stored during your trial. To have that information deleted, email support@trellis.law and ask. You can use the same address to request a copy of what they hold before deletion.5Trellis Research. How Do I Delete My Account Information
If the Self-Service Flow Breaks
Trellis handles support through a contact form at trellis.law/contact.6Trellis. How Do I Contact Customer Support There’s no published phone number or live chat. If your trial is close to expiring, don’t rely on support as your main cancellation path, because response times aren’t guaranteed. Try the Account Overview process first and treat support as a backup.
If You Get Charged After Canceling
If you canceled properly and Trellis still charged you, that’s a billing error you can dispute with your bank or card issuer.
