How to Cancel Your Webnovel Subscription: iOS, Android, and PayPal

To cancel a Webnovel subscription, go to the platform that originally charged you — Apple, Google Play, PayPal, or the Webnovel website — and end the recurring payment there. Deleting the app or the account does not stop the charges. Learning how to cancel a Webnovel subscription is mostly a matter of finding the right billing channel; the actual cancellation takes about two minutes once you’re in the right place.

Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You

Check your email for the original purchase receipt, or look at your bank or credit card statement. The merchant name on the charge tells you where to cancel. “APPLE.COM/BILL” means you subscribed through Apple. “GOOGLE*Webnovel” or “Google Play” means Google. A descriptor reading “WEBNOVEL” or something less recognizable usually means you subscribed directly through the website, with payment processed by a third-party billing provider.

This step is not optional. Canceling in the wrong place does nothing. If Apple is billing you, logging into webnovel.com and hunting for a cancel button will not stop the charge. Only the platform that took the payment can stop taking it.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

Open the Settings app and tap your name at the top. Tap Subscriptions, find Webnovel in the list, and tap Cancel Subscription. If there’s no cancel button and you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.

Apple doesn’t route you through the Webnovel app or make you explain why you’re leaving. You keep VIP access until the end of the current billing period, and Apple won’t charge you again once that period expires.

Cancel on Android Through Google Play

Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon in the top right. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Webnovel and tap Cancel subscription, then follow the confirmation prompts. As with Apple, your access continues until the paid period ends.

Cancel on the Webnovel Website

If you subscribed directly on webnovel.com rather than through a mobile app store, log into your account on the site. Go to your account or wallet section and look for a Membership or Subscriptions area with a manage or cancel link.

Some users report that clicking the manage link redirects to a third-party payment processor’s portal, where the actual cancellation happens. If you’re redirected, complete the steps on that external page. A confirmation should arrive by email — save it.

Cancel a PayPal Billing Agreement

If you paid through PayPal, the most reliable way to stop the charges is to cancel PayPal’s authorization directly. Log into PayPal, go to Settings, then Payments, then Manage automatic payments. Find the Webnovel authorization and cancel it there. Once PayPal no longer has permission to pay Webnovel on your behalf, the recurring charge stops.

When Webnovel Doesn’t Appear in Your Subscription List

This is where most people get stuck. You open your Apple or Google subscription list, and Webnovel isn’t there. That almost always means you didn’t subscribe through that app store, even if you downloaded the app from it. Downloading an app and subscribing through it are two different things.

Go back to your email and find the original receipt. It will say whether Apple, Google Play, or Webnovel itself processed the payment. If the charge came directly from Webnovel, the cancellation has to happen on the website or through the in-app membership section, not in your phone’s subscription settings.

Some versions of the Webnovel app include a Manage Subscription link under Profile or Settings that leads to the billing portal. If you truly cannot find any way to stop the charges, asking your bank to block future charges from the merchant is a last resort. Blocking a charge without properly canceling can leave your account in an odd state with the platform, so treat it as a fallback, not a first step.

What Happens After You Cancel

Your subscription runs until the end of the period you already paid for. Webnovel’s terms of service state that when you cancel, “your subscription will expire at the end of that subscription period” and won’t renew after that.1Webnovel. Once the paid period ends, your account reverts to the free tier. You lose access to locked premium chapters, but your reading history, bookmarks, and library stay intact. Any Coins or Fast Passes you purchased separately remain in your wallet. Webnovel’s terms state that all fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.1Webnovel. Getting a Refund for a Charge You Didn’t Want

If you were charged after you thought you’d canceled, or a renewal caught you off guard, the refund path depends on who billed you.

For Apple purchases, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose Request a refund, select your reason, pick the Webnovel charge, and submit.2Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple Apple reviews requests case by case.

For Google Play purchases, go to play.google.com, click your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history. Find the charge, click Report a problem, and complete the refund form. Google says you’ll usually get a decision within one business day, though it can take up to four.3Google Play Help. If you subscribed through the Webnovel website, the options are narrower. The terms of service say all fees are non-refundable, and the dispute resolution provisions include a mandatory arbitration clause and a class action waiver.4Webnovel. Terms of Service In practice, if you believe a charge was unauthorized, disputing it with your bank or card issuer is often the most effective route.

Deleting the Account Is Not Canceling

Canceling the subscription and deleting your Webnovel account are two different actions. The billing relationship exists between you and Apple, Google, PayPal, or the third-party processor — not between you and your Webnovel profile. If you delete the account without canceling first, the charges can continue. Cancel the subscription, confirm the cancellation by email, and only then decide whether to delete the account.
