To cancel your Wellhub membership, open the Wellhub app, go to Profile > Settings > Account > Manage Subscription, and tap Cancel Subscription. Do it at least 24 hours before your next renewal date, or you’ll be charged for another cycle with no refund. A few situations change the process: annual plans, subscriptions billed through Apple or Google, and accounts tied to a job you’ve left each have their own rules.
Cancel in the App
The cancellation button lives inside the Wellhub mobile app, not on the website. Open the app and:
- Tap your profile icon, then the settings gear.
- Go to Account, then Manage Subscription under the Subscription section.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.

The 24-Hour Deadline
Wellhub requires cancellations at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Miss the window and the next billing cycle charges anyway, with no refund for the unused portion.2Wellhub CA. The refund policy explicitly excludes “lack of use” as a qualifying reason. Refunds are only available for duplicate charges, incorrect billing, or access failures on Wellhub’s end.3Wellhub US. If You Subscribed Through Apple or Google
Wellhub can’t cancel a subscription that Apple or Google is billing. If you signed up through the App Store or Google Play, you have to cancel through that platform.

Not sure which platform bills you? Check your bank or credit card statement. The charge appears from Apple, Google, or Wellhub directly, and that tells you where to go.
Annual Plans Have a Commitment Period
Annual plans don’t stop when you cancel. You can submit the request at any time, but it doesn’t take effect until the end of your 12-month commitment. You keep paying monthly through the remainder of those 12 months regardless of when you cancel.6Wellhub US. How Does the Annual Subscription Work?
If you never cancel, the annual plan automatically converts to a monthly one at the then-current rate when the commitment ends, which may be higher than what you were paying under the lock-in.6Wellhub US. If You’ve Left the Employer That Provided Wellhub
Wellhub is usually an employer-paid benefit, and leaving your job changes the terms. If you have an active paid plan when you depart, Wellhub offers a one-time option to continue at a new rate. Your plan and any active family member plans auto-renew, but the employer contribution disappears immediately, so your price goes up, and you can’t add new family members.7Wellhub. To decline the continuation, cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date. This is a one-way door. Canceling after you’ve left your company also cancels every associated family member plan, and you won’t be able to subscribe to Wellhub again.7Wellhub. If your former employer handled billing through payroll deductions or an internal HR portal, you may also need to opt out through that system. The cutoff for stopping the next deduction follows your company’s payroll schedule, not Wellhub’s 24-hour rule.
Family Member Plans Are Billed Separately
Each family member’s subscription is managed on its own. Canceling your plan doesn’t cancel theirs, and charges for family members keep coming unless you remove each one individually.1Wellhub US. How to Cancel Your Plan or a Family Member’s? This is where lingering charges surprise people.
To cancel a family member’s plan:
- Go to Profile > Settings (gear icon) > Family Members.
- Find the person, tap the three dots next to their name, and select Manage Subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Only the primary account holder can do this; family members can’t cancel their own plans.1Wellhub US. How to Cancel Your Plan or a Family Member’s? One exception: if you’re on the post-employment continuation offer and you cancel your own plan, all family member plans cancel automatically.
What Happens After You Cancel
Access doesn’t cut off immediately. Wellhub bills in advance, so your plan stays active through the last day of the current billing period. Wellhub keeps your profile after cancellation, so a future resubscription (if your next employer offers the benefit) won’t start from scratch. Reactivated plans aren’t eligible for refunds, since Wellhub treats them as continuations of previously activated service.
Pausing or Downgrading Instead
If the reason for canceling is temporary, a pause may serve you better. Wellhub lets you pause an active plan once every six months for 15 to 30 days, with the same 24-hour-before-renewal deadline. Follow the same path as canceling, but tap Pause Subscription. The pause takes effect the following day. Downgrading to a cheaper tier is also possible. On monthly plans, the downgrade takes effect on your next billing date if you schedule it at least 24 hours ahead. Deleting Your Account Is a Separate Step
Canceling stops billing and access. Deleting the account erases your data from Wellhub, and the account can’t be reused.12Wellhub US. How to Delete Your Wellhub Account? You can only delete an account with no active plan and no family members attached.
To delete, go to Profile > settings gear > Privacy > Delete Account, confirm, and enter your password when prompted. This is permanent. If there’s any chance you’ll want Wellhub again through a future employer, leave the canceled account dormant instead.12Wellhub US. How to Delete Your Wellhub Account?
