How to Fill Out and Sign the Andretti Indoor Karting Waiver

You can sign the Andretti Indoor Karting waiver online before you go, or at an electronic kiosk inside the venue when you arrive. Signing ahead saves time at check-in, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Go to andrettikarting.com, choose your location, and open the Online Waiver link in the menu.1Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. Experience Thrilling Indoor Go-Kart Racing at Andretti Karting

Each venue has its own waiver page, so pick the city you’re visiting rather than a generic form. The waiver applies to karting and laser tag; arcade games and other non-physical attractions don’t require one.2Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. Online Waiver

What You Need to Fill It Out

Have these details ready before you start:

  • Full legal name, first and last, as it appears on your ID.
  • Date of birth, which the form uses to confirm whether you can sign for yourself.
  • Home address, including street, city, state, and zip code.
  • Email address, where a copy of the signed waiver gets sent.
  • Phone number, which staff use to pull up your waiver at check-in.

If you’re signing for a minor, you also enter the parent or guardian’s name separately. The form ends with an electronic signature and the date. That electronic signature carries the same legal weight as an ink signature under federal law.3Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC Chapter 96 – Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce

Before you can sign, the form makes you move through a risk disclosure section. It describes the physical nature of karting, including collisions, sudden stops, and contact with barriers, and asks you to confirm you accept those inherent risks. The system won’t let you skip past it.

Signing for a Child

Anyone under 18 cannot sign the waiver for themselves. A parent, legal guardian, or another adult over 18 has to complete and sign on the minor’s behalf.4Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. Pricing and Packages – Glendale AZ – Andretti Karting

The adult signing does not have to be at the facility during the minor’s visit. Signing the waiver online in advance is enough.5Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. If a minor arrives without a waiver on file and no parent or guardian is there to sign one, staff cannot let them race. Handle it before the trip.

How Long a Signed Waiver Lasts

A signed waiver stays on file for one year from the date you submit it.2Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. After 12 months the system marks your profile expired, and you submit a new waiver with current information before your next race.4Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. What You’re Agreeing To

The waiver is a liability release. By signing, you acknowledge the physical risks of karting and laser tag, including collisions with barriers or other karts, sudden deceleration, and muscle strain, and you agree not to sue Andretti for injuries arising from those inherent risks. It’s a condition of participation, not fine print you can negotiate.

Liability waivers have limits, though. They cover ordinary negligence, which is the everyday risk built into a fast-moving activity. They do not typically shield a business from gross negligence, meaning a situation where the facility knew about a serious hazard and ignored it. If a kart had a known brake failure and was sent out anyway, signing a waiver wouldn’t bar a claim over the resulting injury. What the document protects the company from is lawsuits over normal racing incidents.

Checking In After You’ve Signed

At the venue, go to the front desk. Staff look up your waiver by name or phone number, confirm it’s active, and then you can buy race credits and get assigned to a heat. If you signed online, this takes under a minute. If you didn’t, the in-venue kiosks let you do it on the spot, but during peak hours those kiosks can have lines.

A Signed Waiver Isn’t a Guarantee You Can Race

Having a waiver on file gets you through check-in. It doesn’t on its own put you on the track. Every driver still has to meet the physical requirements for the kart they want to drive, and clear the dress code.

Junior karts require a minimum height of 48 inches, with a recommended minimum age of 7. Adult karts require a minimum height of 54 inches, and drivers must be at least 18, or at least 15 with a valid state-issued driver’s license or learner’s permit. Both classes have a 275-pound maximum weight.6Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. The dress code is enforced for safety, and staff will turn you away from the track if you don’t meet it. Flat, closed-toe shoes only, which means no flip-flops, sandals, or heels. Shorts or pants; skirts aren’t recommended, and no loose, flowing clothing or scarves that could catch on moving parts. Long hair must be pulled back and tucked into your shirt. No hats of any kind; helmets are provided.7Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.
