There is no single Hollister model application form to download. Hollister fills its campaigns and social content two ways, and the route you take depends on your situation: apply to the Hollister Style Hub if you want to create sponsored content as an influencer, or apply for a store brand representative job through the Abercrombie & Fitch Co. careers portal and wait to be scouted internally for campaign work.
The Two Routes Into Hollister Modeling
Hollister’s own FAQ says the models in its marketing campaigns start by working in its stores and then become eligible for casting. So the traditional path to a Hollister photo shoot runs through a retail job first. The newer path, aimed at people with an existing audience, is the Hollister Style Hub, an influencer community that recruits creators to post about the brand on Instagram and TikTok. The Style Hub cares about your followers and content style rather than your measurements.
Applying to the Hollister Style Hub
The Style Hub application lives at community.hollisterco.com. You create an account and build a profile that links your social accounts. Confirm you meet the baseline before you start: you must be based in the United States, and you need a public profile with at least 1,500 followers on Instagram or TikTok.1The Hollister Style Hub. Create Your Account Private accounts won’t qualify, because the team needs to see your content and engagement.
The form asks several disclosure questions. You’ll be asked whether you’ve ever had a post removed for violating a platform’s community guidelines, whether you’ve received a letter from the Federal Trade Commission or been found in violation of the FTC’s endorsement guidelines, and whether you currently work for Abercrombie or Hollister.1The Hollister Style Hub. Create Your Account A flagged post or past FTC issue won’t automatically disqualify you. Lying about one almost certainly will.
Once your profile is submitted, the Style Hub team reviews it. If you’re accepted, you’ll receive product, campaign briefs, and content guidelines. Compensation terms, which can mix free merchandise with per-post pay, come after acceptance rather than during the application.
Applying as a Store Brand Representative
If you’d rather shoot catalogs and campaigns than post sponsored content, the entry point is a retail job. Brand representative listings appear on the Workday-powered careers page at abercrombie.wd108.myworkdayjobs.com.2Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Abercrombie and Fitch Co. Careers You can also get there through the “Careers” link at the bottom of corporate.abercrombie.com.3Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Careers
Search “brand representative” or “Hollister” in the keyword field and filter by location. The application asks for the usual employment information: contact details, work history, availability, and whether you’re legally authorized to work in the United States. No measurements, no modeling photos. You’re applying for a sales role. If the marketing team later identifies you as a fit for a campaign, casting reaches out separately.
Brand representatives typically earn between $10.45 and $16.90 per hour, depending on location and experience. That’s the floor pay for the retail job. Any actual modeling work is negotiated on its own terms if you’re chosen.
What to Have Ready Before You Apply
For the Style Hub route, pull a few things together first:
- Your Instagram and TikTok handles, both set to public.
- A recent feed you’d be comfortable having a brand recruiter scroll through end to end.
- Confirmation that at least one of those accounts clears 1,500 followers. Purchased followers are easy to spot and work against you.
- An honest read on your FTC compliance history, so you can answer the disclosure questions without hesitation.
The store route takes less. A current resume or work history, your schedule, and contact information are enough. If you don’t have a resume, the Workday system lets you enter your experience by hand.
What Your Social Feed Should Show
For the Style Hub, your Instagram and TikTok feeds are your portfolio. The team scrolls them to see how you photograph naturally, how your audience responds, and whether your personal style sits comfortably next to the brand’s.
A few things the brand consistently gravitates toward: natural light over studio setups, minimal makeup over editorial looks, and lifestyle content like beach trips, casual outings, and outfit-of-the-day posts over posed fashion photography. Clean backgrounds help. Authenticity matters more than production value.
If you’re eventually cast from a store position, the creative team runs the shoot. You don’t need professional headshots to get hired on the retail side.
If You’re Under 18
Hollister has historically hired from age 16 for store roles, and federal law lets 16- and 17-year-olds work unlimited hours in non-hazardous jobs.4U.S. Department of Labor. Fact Sheet 43 – Child Labor Provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act Retail sales and modeling are both non-hazardous, so federal hour limits don’t apply the way they would at 14 or 15.
States often add their own rules. Many require a work permit or employment certificate before a minor can start, and most require parental or guardian consent. Forms and fees vary, and some states charge nothing while others want a school-issued certificate. Check with your state’s department of labor before applying, because Hollister will need the paperwork before your first shift.
The Style Hub’s follower-count and US residency rules apply regardless of age, but the program’s terms of service may set a higher minimum age. Read them during account creation to confirm you qualify.
After You Submit
Style Hub decisions arrive by email. Timing depends on the team’s backlog, but most applicants hear within a few weeks. Acceptance comes with onboarding on how campaigns work, what the brand expects, and how you’ll be paid.
Store applications follow a more conventional path. If a store manager is interested, you’ll be invited to a virtual interview on the Workday platform, with behavioral and situational questions about why you want to work in retail, how you’ve handled difficult situations, and what fashion trends you follow.5Reddit. What Questions Does Hollister Ask in Their Virtual Interviews Answers are often recorded on video for the hiring team to review later, so dress the way you would for an in-person interview.
Getting hired as a brand representative doesn’t guarantee modeling work. Internal casting is a separate process, with store managers and regional teams nominating employees who fit a current campaign. Staying visible on the floor, keeping a strong personal style, and building a social presence the marketing team can find all raise your odds.
Spotting Scams
Modeling scams targeting young people are common, and Hollister’s name is a frequent lure. A few reliable signs of the real thing: Hollister never charges an application fee. Any agency or casting director asking for money upfront to submit your application, shoot test photos, or enroll in a required class is running a scam. The genuine application process runs through hollisterco.com, community.hollisterco.com, or the Abercrombie & Fitch corporate careers portal. Not a third-party website, and not a direct message from an unverified account.
If someone contacts you claiming to represent Hollister’s casting team, verify by emailing the company through its official site. Legitimate brand staff use corporate email addresses rather than Gmail or Yahoo accounts, and they won’t ask for financial information, Social Security numbers, or intimate photographs as part of the application.
