How to Fill Out and Submit the Indiemono Playlist Submission Form

The Indiemono playlist submission form is a free web form at indiemono.com/submit-music-indiealt-playlists that takes about two minutes once you have a Spotify track link ready. You fill in your name, email, track and artist name, genre, and a couple of promotional preferences, tick two consent boxes, and submit. Indiemono only contacts you if your song is selected for a playlist.1Indiemono. Submit Music to Indie / Alternative Spotify Playlists for Free

What to Have Ready Before You Open the Form

Gather these first. The form is short, but every field is required.

Two other fields ask what kind of promotion interests you and which territory you want to target. The promotion options include general PR, playlisting PR, radio promo, blog promo, YouTube PR, TikTok PR, syncs promo, influencer promo, and label scouts. If your goal is an Indiemono Spotify playlist, playlisting PR is the relevant pick. Territories range from Global to specific continents like Europe, North America, and Asia.1Indiemono. How to Copy the Correct Spotify Track Link

This is where most first-time submitters get stuck. The link has to point to the specific song, not the album or your artist page.

  • On the desktop app or web player, go to the track, click the three dots (or right-click the title), select Share, then click Copy Song Link.2Spotify. Finding Your Spotify Artist, Track, and Release Links
  • On mobile or tablet, open the track, tap the share icon, and copy the song link from the options.

A correct link looks like https://open.spotify.com/track/4H0ToU5T89PWu4irX7J85c. If yours contains “/album/” instead of “/track/”, you copied the wrong thing and need to go back for the song link.1Indiemono. Walking Through the Form

Open the submission page and work through the fields in order. In the “Trackname – Artistname” field, match Spotify exactly. If there is a featured artist or a stylized spelling, reproduce it. Mismatches between your entry and Spotify’s metadata make it harder for the curators to locate and verify your song.

Take a moment on the genre dropdown. Indiemono’s actual playlist library spans roughly 25 categories, including Indie/Alternative, Bedroom Pop, Lo-Fi, Chill, Rock, EDM, Folk, Latin, Indietronica, Instrumental, and mood lists like Sad, Happy, and Love. The form’s dropdown is broader than that library, so pick the closest match. Your choice determines which curator’s queue your song lands in, so a wrong pick usually ends in a pass. At the bottom, two consent checkboxes authorize Indiemono to store your name and email for future communications and newsletters. According to the form’s terms, your information is not shared with third parties or added to external mailing lists.1Indiemono. Rules That Trip People Up

You can only submit any given song once. The system blocks duplicates, and the same curators listen to every submission anyway, so resubmitting the same track gains nothing.4Indiemono. The form is the only channel. Indiemono has said directly that the team does not have time to process pitches sent by email, Facebook, Instagram, or other social channels, and messages sent that way may not be seen.5Indiemono. Submit Music!

Because submissions are free, there is no payment step. You should never be asked for a credit card during the standard process.

What Happens After You Submit

Your track enters Indiemono’s internal listening queue, where curators evaluate it for quality and fit against their active playlists. There is no published turnaround time, and how long you wait depends on the queue length.

If your song is selected, you get an email at the address you provided, with details about which playlists it was added to and sometimes further promotional opportunities.1Indiemono. To check for a placement on your own, open your Spotify for Artists dashboard, go to Music, then Playlists. That view lists every playlist your tracks are currently on, with listener stats for each.6Spotify. Seeing Playlists You’re Added To You can also search Indiemono’s playlist names directly in Spotify and scroll the tracklists.

Placements are not permanent. Curators refresh their playlists periodically, and how long any song stays on a given list is at their discretion.
