How to Fill Out and Submit the Pornhub Content Removal Form

To get a video or image taken down, use the Pornhub content removal form at pornhub.com/content-removal, pick the category that matches your situation, paste the exact URLs, and click the verification link in the confirmation email the site sends you. Verified URLs are disabled immediately while the Trust and Safety team reviews the case.1Pornhub Help. Content Removal Request Form If the content is non-consensual intimate imagery, the TAKE IT DOWN Act now requires the platform to remove it within 48 hours of a valid request from the person depicted.2Congress.gov. S.146 – TAKE IT DOWN Act

Pick the Right Category Before You Start

The form routes your request based on the reason you select, so choosing accurately matters. Your options are:

  • Non-consensual content, meaning video or images shared without the depicted person’s permission. This covers material you consented to create but never agreed to have published.
  • CSAM or child safety concern, for any content that appears to depict a minor.
  • Performer withdrawing consent, if you previously agreed to appear but now want to revoke that agreement.
  • Violation of a consent agreement, when content was uploaded or distributed in a way that breaks the terms you originally agreed to.
  • Other, covering illegal acts, harassment, impersonation, or anything else against community guidelines.1Pornhub Help. Content Removal Request Form

Copyright claims do not belong here. Those go through the DMCA form at pornhub.com/information/dmcaform, covered further down.

Save Your Evidence First

Once the platform removes a video, it is gone from the site. If you later need it for law enforcement, a civil lawsuit, or takedown requests to other sites hosting the same material, you will want copies in hand before you file.

  • Take full-screen screenshots that capture the browser URL bar, page layout, and any visible dates or usernames.
  • Copy the exact URL of each specific video or image page. A channel link or search result page is not enough.
  • Note the uploader’s username, upload date if visible, and any comments or descriptions attached.
  • Search other sites for the same content and document those URLs too. Each platform needs its own removal request.

Store everything in an encrypted cloud folder with two-factor authentication, and keep a backup on a separate device. Do not edit, crop, or share the screenshots. Unaltered evidence carries far more weight if you pursue criminal charges or a civil claim later.

Filling Out the Form

Open pornhub.com/content-removal. The form asks for:

  • Your email address, entered twice. This is where the verification link and status updates go.
  • Your full legal name. Typing it certifies that you are who you claim to be and that your information is accurate.
  • The content URLs. Paste the exact link to every specific video or image you want removed.
  • Your reason for reporting. Pick the category above; sub-options may appear asking for more detail.
  • Your relationship to the person depicted, whether you are the individual shown, a legal guardian, or an authorized representative.
  • Timestamps and additional details. If only part of a video violates policy, note the minute-and-second range, and use the open text field to explain why the content qualifies for removal.3Pornhub. Content Removal Request for Photos or Videos

After you submit, the platform emails you a confirmation. Click the verification link. Valid content URLs are disabled the moment you do.3Pornhub. Content Removal Request for Photos or Videos If you skip verification, the request still reaches the Trust and Safety team, but the content stays up during review.

What Happens After You Submit

The platform states that all requests, verified or not, are reviewed expeditiously by the Trust and Safety team.1Pornhub Help. Content Removal Request Form If you verified your email, the URLs are already down. The review then decides whether the takedown becomes permanent or the content is restored.

If a request is denied, the notification should explain why. You can resubmit with additional evidence. For non-consensual intimate imagery, the 48-hour requirement under the TAKE IT DOWN Act applies regardless of internal review timelines, and the Federal Trade Commission enforces the platform-side obligations.4U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce. Reporting Anonymously or Involving a Minor

If you are reporting NCII or child safety content and do not want to attach your name, use the anonymous version at pornhub.com/anonymous-content-removal. It lets you file without providing personal contact details.3Pornhub. Content Removal Request for Photos or Videos

For content that appears to depict a minor, report it to both Pornhub and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678. The CyberTipline operates around the clock and forwards reports to law enforcement.5National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. CyberTipline

Copyright Takedowns Use a Separate Form

If your claim is that someone uploaded your copyrighted work, the content removal form is the wrong place. File a DMCA notice at pornhub.com/information/dmcaform. It requires:6Pornhub. DMCA Notice of Copyright Infringement

  • Identification of the copyrighted work, with a description or link to the original. A representative list is acceptable if multiple works are involved.
  • The exact URLs of the infringing content. Channel links will not do.
  • Your name, postal address, phone number, and email address.
  • A good faith statement that you believe the use is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that your information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them. A false claim can expose you to liability.
  • Your typed full legal name as an electronic signature.

If content of yours is removed through someone else’s DMCA notice and you believe that was a mistake, you can file a counter-notification that includes your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the takedown was an error, and consent to the jurisdiction of a U.S. federal court. Once a valid counter-notification is received, the original complainant has 10 to 14 business days to file a court action. If no lawsuit follows, the platform restores the content.7Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 17 USC 512 – Limitations on Liability Relating to Material Online

Clean Up Search Results Separately

Removing a video from Pornhub does not clear cached links and thumbnails from Google or Bing. Those can linger for weeks unless you request de-indexing.

Google accepts removal requests for non-consensual intimate imagery, AI-generated deepfakes, and cases where someone’s name or photo has been associated with pornographic content without justification. Submit through Google’s removal form with the specific URLs and screenshots showing where your image appears. By default, Google also tries to find and remove duplicate copies of reported imagery from its results.8Google Search Help. Remove Personal Sexual Content From Google Search

For Bing, submit a privacy concern through Microsoft’s Report a Concern tool at microsoft.com/en-us/concern/bing. Pick the correct category; choosing something like “outdated link” can route your request to an automated response that will not help. Both search engines can only remove links from their index. The underlying content has to be taken down at the source, which is why filing with Pornhub comes first.

Block Re-Uploads With StopNCII

The same imagery can resurface under a different account after a successful takedown. StopNCII.org addresses this by generating a unique digital fingerprint, called a hash, from your intimate imagery directly on your device. The images never leave your phone or computer. Only the hash is shared with participating platforms, which use it to automatically detect and block matching uploads.9StopNCII.org. Stop Non-Consensual Intimate Image Abuse

To use the tool, you must be the person depicted, at least 18 at the time the imagery was created, and still in possession of the files, and you must be shown in a state of nudity or engaging in sexual activity. One submission can block re-uploads across every participating platform at once.

Federal Laws That Back Your Request

If the platform process stalls, several federal statutes give you leverage.

The TAKE IT DOWN Act

Signed into law in 2025, the TAKE IT DOWN Act makes it a federal crime to knowingly publish non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated deepfakes that are indistinguishable from authentic images of a real person. Platforms must remove NCII within 48 hours of a valid request from the depicted individual and make reasonable efforts to remove known copies. Publishing NCII of an adult carries up to two years in prison. Publishing NCII of a minor carries up to three years. Threatening to publish intimate imagery is also criminalized, with penalties matching the underlying offense.2Congress.gov. S.146 – TAKE IT DOWN Act

Federal Civil Action Under 15 U.S.C. ยง 6851

You can sue in federal court anyone who discloses your intimate images without consent while knowing or recklessly disregarding that you did not agree to the disclosure. The statute makes clear that consenting to the creation of an image does not count as consenting to its distribution. You can recover either your actual damages or $150,000 in liquidated damages, plus attorney’s fees and litigation costs. Courts can issue injunctions ordering the defendant to stop distributing the imagery and can allow you to proceed under a pseudonym.10Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 6851 – Civil Action Relating to Disclosure of Intimate Images
