What the Credit Is Worth
The onboard credit scales with voyage length: $50 per qualified passenger for sailings of 6 days or shorter, $100 for 7 to 13 days, and $250 for 14 days or longer. Who Qualifies Before You File
The benefit is open to active-duty personnel, retirees, and disabled veterans of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, or Reserves; Canadian National Defense; and the British Army, Royal Marines, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, or Reserves.
Veterans need an honorable discharge with a minimum of two years of service, or six months in an active war zone. An educational discharge qualifies if the separation date falls within 90 days of the normal end-of-service date. Documents to Attach
U.S. veterans submit a DD-214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty). Princess asks you to redact your Social Security number before scanning or copying it. Two older forms are also accepted: the WD AGO (War Department Adjutant General Form) and the NAVPERS (Naval Personnel Discharge Form). Canadian applicants send equivalent national defense documentation showing active-duty or veteran status. UK applicants submit proof from their branch of service. The form doesn’t name a specific document for these groups, so if you’re unsure, contact militarybenefit@princesscruises.com for North America or benefits@princesscruises.co.uk for the UK.
Filling Out the Form
You can download the Military Personnel Benefit Application at princess.com/cruise-deals-promotions/military-benefit-program, or request one from your travel advisor. The fields are short:
- Booking number
- Ship name
- Sailing date
- First and last name
- Telephone number
- Email address

Once approved, the credit appears on your stateroom folio. Verify it in the MedallionClass app or at Guest Services after you board. It spends on shore excursions, specialty dining, and spa treatments, but not on casino charges or crew gratuity surcharges, and it isn’t refunded as cash.1Princess Cruises.
