Play Perfect Inc Charge: How to Cancel and Get a Refund

A Play Perfect Inc charge on your bank or credit card statement almost always traces back to an in-app purchase or subscription inside a mobile game from PlayPerfect, LLC, a developer known for video poker training apps like Play Perfect Video Poker Pro+ and Play Perfect Multi-Strike VP.1Google Play. Android Apps by PlayPerfect, LLC on Google Play The purchase went through either Apple or Google, not the developer directly, and that’s where you have to go to cancel it and ask for a refund.

How the Charge Shows Up

Your statement probably doesn’t say “Play Perfect Inc” in those exact words. Google Play charges typically appear as “GOOGLE*App developer name” or “GOOGLE*App name.”2Google Play Help. Report Charges You Don’t Recognize Apple charges generally appear as “APPLE.COM/BILL.” Match the amount and date on the statement to a receipt in your email from Apple or Google, which will carry the order ID you need for a refund.

A one-time charge in the $0.99 to $9.99 range usually means an in-app purchase such as virtual currency or an ad-free upgrade. The same amount hitting your card every month points to a subscription, sometimes one that started as a free trial and converted automatically.

If a child or other family member has access to your phone or tablet, that is the most common source of a surprise charge. A tap inside a game can authorize a real-money transaction that doesn’t feel like one to the person tapping.

Disputing With Your Bank

If the app store denies the refund and you believe the charge was truly unauthorized, you can dispute it with your card issuer. When you dispute a Google Play charge, Google may suspend your entire Google account while the chargeback is open, locking you out of Gmail, Drive, and anything else tied to that account. Google support has required people to reverse the chargeback before discussing reinstatement, and if Google’s own review finds the purchase was made from your account, the suspension may stand even after the dispute closes. Apple carries a similar risk, though it tends to be limited to App Store and iTunes access rather than your email.
